We called ahead to see if they would be open Thanksgiving Day and was told they would be open until 8pm. After travelling all day we arrived there at 6:50 pm and was told they were closing the kitchen. We stated we had called and they said we could stay and order. The waiter was very pleasant and I ordered... More

Such a fantastic time!! My 22-year old daughter and her boyfriend are HUGE Harry Potter fans, and I found the Claddagh Irish Pub was having a HP Trivia Night on the day I arrived for a visit over Thanksgiving. The trivia competition was pretty heavy and loads of fun. We ate prior to the competition starting, and all three of... More

Their menu lists "lunch" prices on many meals. But even if you are visiting at lunch time the servers are instructed to always bring the higher priced meals unless the customer specifically requests the lunch portion. The server will also not mention that there are "lunch" portions available. We're only talking about a few dollars here, but as a customer... More

We were staying at the nearby Hyatt House and had lunch here. We ate here primarily because it was right across the street from our hotel. My general experience is that food is generally an afterthought in Irish pubs which focus primarily on alcohol. But our lunch was really good. Both my wife and I had the fish and chips,... More

Had dinner as a family of 5. I have to say, everyone was happy with their burgers and sandwiches....but I was not. My Salad was supposed to have: romaine, celery, cucumbers, tomatoes, bacon, avocado, hard boiled egg, crumbled bleu . cheese, cilantro cream dressing. Could barely taste the bleu cheese, no hard boiled egg, bacon or celery or cucumbers. I... More

Went over on Thursday for a beer. Turns out Thursday is Greek (frat/sorority) night. It was kind of noisy and otherworldly, but, it's a big world. Nice selection of beers and friendly staff and patrons . Went back Friday for beer and food (fish and chips nicely done).

I ordered the Corned Beef and Cabbage. The root vegetables and cabbage were well prepared and quite tasty but the meat was about fifty percent fat and did not look very appetizing. My wife had the Shepherds Pie which I had a few bites and it was very good.

My sister & I were enjoying a walk through the beautiful South Side of Pittsburgh on warm Monday afternoon and decided to stop by the Claddagh for an early drink & dinner. It was only 4:30 but we received a warm welcome. We had a couple of whiskeys and a wonderful traditional fish & (spicy) chips dinner. A delicious meal... More

We stopped by for a round of beers and to pick up a game on the TV. Also had the Bourbon sampler. Everything was good. It was not too crowded for a Friday night around 11:00. Surprising. The people in there were friendly and we visited for a while. Did not have any food but enjoyed the time.

I had the Mac & Lobster it was so cheese and flavorful. I had the burger with bear cheese, onion straws, grilled onions and special sause. The bread was so good. Great place to eat and have a beer
