Food was a bit pricey, but it was excellent. So were the cocktails. This is a fun place to go if you are willing to share food, so you can get lots of different tastes.

Took my wife here for a Spanish night before I left on a trip with some mates to Pamplona to run with the bulls. We have spend some time in Spain and this is by far the closest to authentic that we have found in...More

Pallantia is located on Ivy Street in the Shadyside neighborhood of Pittsburgh, just off the main drag of Walnut Street. I say this because a restaurant of this quality should be front-and-center for culinary expertise in Pittsburgh. Walking into Pallantia immediately brought me back to...More

I have had the pleasure of dining in several 3-star Michelin restaurants, and I think Palantia rivals them. Gonzalo consistently offers some of the best and most creative dishes in his Shadyside establishment. Kudos to him and his staff!!

A small group of four us dined here for a girls night out and shared several different tapas dishes and were blown away at how fresh and flavorful everything was! I would recommend the meet board, octopus, shrimp, bread and potatoes. The owner/chef came out...More

Sangria and rosé wine, ibéricos, yellow tomato gazpacho, potato omelet, mushrooms and shrimp ... yum, yum, yum!!! Well-deserved indulgence after a day of walking CMU's campus, Pitt's campus and the Cathedral of Learning. Then touring Randyland, City of Asylum & Bicycle Heaven! This place was...More

I can't say enough about Pallantia's exquisite balance of delicious food and well matched (tho' not always well-known) wine. Every choice - or recommendation - knit together beautifully. Here is savory cuisine that should not be missed.

Looking for something different on a recent visit to P-burg, we kind of stumbled onto Pallantia Tapas De Espana. We were a bit tepid to the utilitarian kind of exterior, but tried to keep an open mind as we love the tapas concept. I have...More

Had variety of tapas. Each one better than the next! Garlic shrimp. Lamb sliders. Ham croquettes. Patatas bravas. Carne Fiesta. Good cocktails too. Friendly server and accommodating bartender. It's a sleeper. Check it out. You won't be disappointed.

Authentic Tapas y Paella from Spain. We work with imported traditional products from Spain and local suppliers to bring Spain closer than you think. Tapas is at the heart of the Pallantia experience, like we do in Spain!!
