A bit pricey but she felt so honored that I took her there. We could see the city and PNC park. It was absolutly breathtaking when the lights started coming on.

I know you take an elevator to the dining room, but I had made reservations in the "lower dining room", is this a different floor? I was a little confused by the wording.

Yes it is, you should ask for a booth on the main dining floor. The lower floor has a bar and is an excellent place to have a drink and a view of the 'burgh!

Why wouldn't you make a reservation? So long as they don't charge for a cancellation, make it! Don't leave things to chance and plan ahead is my motto, especially when it comes to good/popular places to eat.

We went smart casual - but there were people there dressed down and dressed up - It is a beautiful restaurant with beautiful views and I felt that it needs dressing appropriately. Hope this helps
