The only reason to go to Le Mont is the view; however, there are other restaurants with better food on Mt. Washington and they have the same view. The décor at Le Mont can only be described as tacky and dated. The food is so...More

If nothing else, you must visit this place for the view of downtown Pittsburgh. Other than when you come through the Ft Pitt tunnel, it's the best you can get. The food and service are good but honestly, my visit is always for the view.

Every time I have guests in town I take them here. The view is one of the best. The food is excellent never had a bad meal. The decor is elegant and service top notch.

We travel to Pittsburgh for a Steeler's game once a year. For the past seven years Le Mont has been part of our visit. The first thing that one encounters is the spectacular view and what follows does not disappoint. By the end of the...More

The view is spectacular...the food average...the service-just okay. Started out great but they have a live band which is unfitting, too loud. My dessert was sour and currdled...it was chocolate mousse. Its too bad but we still had fun because we are all about fun!

The view is fabulous, but there is no other reason to eat there. This may be a consequence of having a dinner party there and using their banquet menu rather than going as individual diners. I will say the restaurant was easy to work with,...More

The view of the city in the evening from the restaurant is breath taking. However when I asked for permission to take some decent photos with no interference of the dirty glass windows, I was flatly refused. Walking up the street to the cable car,...More

Yes. The restaurant offers valet parking at a minimal price ($6) and there is also a self-parking lot adjacent to the casket lit.
