It's now 412. Haven't had the chance to eat there yet but friends enjoyed it. The Tin Angel was an amazing resturant and a Pittsburgh favorite!

Unfortunately, this restaurant is closed. This needs to be updated. Also what is unfortunate is that I have to write 100 words to get this message across.

A classic fine dining experience on the Mount. There will never be a vegetable boat that can compare to the one served table-style like theirs. The stuffed grape leaves were one of the best foods of memory. I will miss them.

We have gone to the Tin Angel for all of our special occasions and at times just go there for no reason. Have celebrated 18 anniversaries there and 19 of my birthdays. This was my pick for my birthday every year since I have been married. We LOVE it. The food and the staff are fantastic. We are just very... More

The prix fixe system might not suit everyone-- but for us it worked just fine. You have a choice of starters, a common vegetable "boat," and then a choice of entrees and desserts. Our servers really wanted to ensure that we had a good time and enjoyed our meal. The cauliflower au gratin soup was delicious. The French onion soup... More

Decor seems outdated. Food was just okay- not enough variety. Beautiful view and friendly staff. Parking was not an issue with a lot right across the street.

My husband and I had dinner at the Tin Angel after riding to the top of the incline. The prices were pretty steep so I expected the food to be amazing. I am a Vegetarian and he is not. They had one option for me which was vegetable lasagna. My lasagna wasn't warm all of the way through and the... More

We went here with two couples for new years eve which was a fixed price menu with a hefty price tag. They brought us a raw veggie boat with what seemed like from the bottle ranch dressing for an appetizer to start. The steaks we got with sub par and we had to remind the two waitresses waiting on us... More

I have a soft spot in my heart for the Tin Angel. This was the first resturant outside of my immediate area where I hosted customers for dinner. That was in 1996. Since that dinner I've been promising my wife to take her there for an evening. Just now delivered. I've visited the Tin Angel several times over the years... More

My travel party went without reservations but had looked at the menu on line. Everything is one price which is just fine and the prices show on the website but once we got a menu the prices were not on there. This made for an awkward exchange with the wait person who didn't know the prices and had to go... More
