I remember when this place was Yum Wok (yeah, I'm that old) - the go-to place for starving college students. We visited over the summer as parents, and were surprised at how robust the menu was. The kids loved all of the choices, and we were happy with the walk down memory lane - as well as the prices! You... More

I have been to LuLu's a few times, always for lunch on weekends. We are usually greeted by the lady (Lulu???) that runs the place. The place is usually around half full. The food usually arrives quickly after one places the order. I have only ordered various noodle soup dishes. I have always been satisfied. The last time, I had... More

Definitely a college town kind of place...setting is rather dated but food is relatively cheap and fast. Ordered the tom kha soup and while the chicken was plentiful, it tasted old and even a little gummy. Singapore street noodles were bland--noodle consistency resembled shredded wheat, peppers were barely cooked, and I think I got maybe three small shrimp total. On... More

Tasty Asian food served quickly at a reasonable price. They serve food catering to college kids. Craig Street is in between Univ of Pirrsburgh and Carnegie Mellon. If Asian's not you pick head either way on Craig and you'll hit another choice.

We have been to Lu Lu's before and enjoyed their interesting take on Asian noodles. Their Pad Thai, dumplings, scallion pancakes, and spicy chicken were great. I was less impressed with the sweet and sour chicken and fried rice. They have a cool selection of bubble teas which my kids really enjoyed.

Go there once a week. Love the Tom Kia soup. Get dr. Fu special. Kids love the boba fruit teas. Always good portions end up sharing most of the food.
