My wife and I were exploring in downtown and walked down 6th. Christo, the owner, met us on the sidewalk in front of his place and started a friendly conversation. We were looking for a quaint, mid-afternoon Saturday lunch. Christo brought us a menu and invited us to come in. We left two and a half hours later. We enjoyed... More

The food was good along with entertaining service. The waitress (forgot the name, but older lady) was full of personality and stories. The food was good but the portions were small. For dessert, order the Jackie O. cake.

Great service. Nice food. I side or outside is a good choice. Close to Market Square without the noise of the plaza.

A wonderful place near the river on 6th St. in Pittsburgh, PA. My daughter and I were skeptical at first, but this experience turned out to be wonderful. We started with homemade wine and hummus. That got our taste buds going! We then had stuffed grape leaves. They were chilled and oh so creamy, great for a hot sunny day.... More

Everything you can imagine on the menu. Try the combos to taste it all. Good priced homemade wine. Friendly Greek homestyle atmosphere.

Quaint, friendly...the hummus and the lemon potatoes were excellent . We went before a show, service was fast. We came back for dessert after the show.

Great service, old fashioned curious restaurant with amazing authentic dishes and best (try Onassis Dessert) sweets from around. I had a great time there.

We ate here mainly based on its close proximity to Heinz Hall. Even though I was in Pittsburgh, it felt like I was in a Greek restaurant in Athens. I liked the cluttered and authentic pictures and decor; it made the restaurant feel homey. The food was amazing. Each of us liked everything: the salads, the hummus, the gyro, the... More

I found my go to Greek place! I just moved to Pittsburgh, and I am so happy to have found this nice place! As a Greek, the authenticity is so appreciated. From the appetizers to main courses and the pites!! So well done!! And Christos is just a wonderful guy from the island of Ikaria. If I had 6 stars,... More

My daughter and I arrived in Pittsburgh with 1.5 hours to spare before the start of the Diary of Anne Frank show. We decided to grab a bite to eat so we started walking down the street. As we neared Christo's we decided Mediterranean sounded good. We hit the jackpot here! The pita, vegetables and hummus were a great start.... More
