They have a huge menu and execute it well. The bartenders are numerous and attentive and friendly. I'm stuck in a rut here and mainly order appetizers, my favorite the firecracker shrimp. Multiple TVs everywhere, good music, good libations. Good times.
Was in town visiting for the first time with my dad, brother, and cousin and we stopped in on Oct 11th 2016. Our seats were in the far right back corner around the left side in a low lit area. We placed orders for appetizers and dinner at the same time, but only received part of the apps in a... More
Location is great. Service is good. Food is average. Portions are small. Drinks are expensive. Went for lunch with four people on Friday after Thanksgiving. Sat at the high tables near the bar. Ordered a Moscow Mule for two of my guests. They served it in plastic glasses rather than the traditional copper mugs. Negotiated for two for one at... More
I have eaten at Grille 36 before. Usually with a large group of 12 or more family and friends on our Steelers Game dinner outing. I had fine memories of endless appetizers and a huge (36oz.) steak. This time it was only my wife and me. We were both anticipating a good steak, however, I was not up for the... More
Jerome scored a touchdown with this restaurant on the North Side close to both PNC and Heinz Field. Great ambiance , good service and dont forget those 36 oz steaks . A real Hall of fame place.
Poor experience! A place attracts tourists! Waiting, 1:30 with no service before having a table for 6 people. The waiter was ok but no more. We wait 25 minutes more before received two bottle of wine. The meals were very cold and portion so small. The server has forgotten several items. I do not recommend. Several other restaurants and pub... More
This is in a great location to go before a sporting event on the north shore! It was very packed last Sunday, so it made for not so quick/great service. Food was decent for bar food. They have great Pittsburgh sports memorabilia up on the walls and funky bathrooms. (you will see what I am talking about when you go... More
Our first time eating here. Naturally on game day there's always going to be a big wait . It took us a little while to get seated but we did and once we did our waitress was very nice and polite we had a few drinks and ordered some food, my wife got the deep fried cheeseburger I ordered the... More

Does this restaurant play college sports on the T.V.s, or just major league sports? I'm trying to find a nice place to watch the Pitt vs. Penn State game with family & friends while visiting the city in September, where we can feel part of 'hometown excitement'.
