I'd been there before and not had bad service, but I actually wanted to get a second drink and it was hard to get the bartender's attention, though it wasn't that busy. In addition to that, she tried to charge me extra thinking I wouldn't notice it. VERY rude service and they tried to steal money from me. Recommend one... More

I understand they just changed ownership. Well the "new" owner did stop by our table to talk about our experience. He was genuinely interested in our suggestions. The food was delicious and plentiful. The price is average for theatre district pricing. A little dark inside but the owner said he is working on it. Not a fast food place so... More

Food is very slow (and average), service is terrible, pricing is high for what it is. The only reason they are in business as they get overflow from other restaurants from the theater district. Listen to all the other reviews - I wish we had.

We had lunch at the restaurant before attending a Steeler game. We were surprised at the very limited menu. They had only three or four sandwiches to choose from and were out of turkey so that limited the menu even more. Two of us had the pulled pork and two had salads. The French fries were good and the pulled... More

We decided to have dinner here before a show. We arrived in plenty of time & told we had a 10 min wait, even though we could see empty tables. Finally, we were taken downstairs and seated in a booth. There were several other booths occupied, all waiting for something. It was dark & very worn-looking down there, like it... More

We dropped in for lunch on a Saturday afternoon. Food was OK. Service was inexperienced and unattentive even though the place was empty.

This used to be one of our favorite stops after a play at the Benedum or a performance at the Heinz Theatre, because you could often catch one of the stars grabbing a bite there. But recently the quality of the food and the attentiveness of the service has gone downhill. This last time we were there the servers were... More

Eating in the Pittsburgh Cultural District when performances at the theaters are competing with a Pirate sell out can be challenging even with the increase in restaurant options along the Penn Ave. corridor. With little time till curtain we jumped into the Grille on 7th because of its proximity to our theater (1/2 block) and table availability. Having since read... More

Selected this restaurant today 7/11/15 due to location to Benedum Center. Paid the bill with cash. GOT RIPPED OFF! They do not have change. The waitress said they have NO change in the register. They kept the change as well as short changes us in single dollars because she did not have change. Only good part, Food was EXCELLENT! It... More
