They didn't have 3 of the five white wines we chose. Then when they brought the fourth choice, it was room temperature. They brought an ice bucket but it wasn't cool well into the meal. Unfortunate. The fois gras plate seemed to have been pre-pared and refrigerated because the fruit sauce drizzle was no longer liquid but stuck to the... More

My husband recently surprised me with a nights stay. We stayed in one of the spa rooms. The room had a jacuzzi tub, fireplace and was very roomy. Everything was clean and in order. We did do a couples massage which was so relaxing and enjoyable. We also ate dinner, the food was exceptionally good. I had the scallops, my... More

The short rib and duck were Phenomenal. No place 10/10 IMO, so bad reviews were only because of bad nights I'd guess. I'm from the city originally and am no novice to fine dining.

Restaurant had a selection of different items to choose from. My husband enjoyed the Elk Wellington appetizer so much, he had it both nights. Everything we ate was wonderful and the wines were reasonable

We stayed at the French Manor Inn and Spa as a last minute NYE getaway. We decided to make reservations at The French Manor since it was right downstairs. My husband forgot his blazer but had no issues getting in with his dress shirt and tie. I was a little disappointed that we stood there waiting to be seated for... More

We ate dinner here the first night of our three-night stay (birthday weekend). Mostly empty dining room (was 8pm), which is always a downer. One guy wasn't wearing a jacket -- made me wonder if they'd get more business if they did away with the jacket requirement. Boyfriend ordered the wagyu beef, even after the waiter -- who thought he... More

The menu at The French Manor was phenomenal. As a group, we had numerous dishes off the breakfast and dinner menus. The only dish that was disappointing was the squab & only because it was difficult to eat! All the dishes were exquisitely prepared and seasoned . . . at breakfast everything from the coffee cake to the asparagus &... More

Had the Elk Wellington, Butternut squash soup to start, with Squab for entree's. All were perfect. Sit on the terrace for a glass of wine or dinner if the weather is good.

Our dinner was simply amazing! We started with the foie gras, then I had lobster bisque and hubby had carrot ginger bisque. Both soups were terrific. I had the prosciutto wrapped salmon with corn and lentil salad for my main, and it was superb. Hubby had the monkfish and really enjoyed it as well. We finished by sharing the tiramusu.... More
