I enjoyed an extremely delicious lamb shank. It was accompanied by a creamy farro risotto. For dessert, we enjoyed peach ice from the Penn State Creamary. Wonderful. The wine list had a very nice variety including wine by the glass.

Had a reservation for Easter and they just called me today to say they're cancelling because they're overbooked?! This isn't an airlines! Clearly their error and they could care less- refused to make room for us--I've been in the restaurant industry for 15 years and that is not how you handle guests

The Nittany Lion Inn, where this restaurant is located is well-known with parents, alumni, professional staff at Penn State and locals as well. The buffets are excellent, and different areas mean some ambiance. The wait staff are often in the Hospitality training program and are excellent. It's right on the campus and has the flavor of "Old State College."

Have enjoyed staying here for years and was happy to find it as nice as ever. Our waitress was great and after asking her about the mineral museum I'd visited as a kid, she took it upon herself to find where it was located and get us directions. Above and beyond!

We stayed at the inn. Unbelievable wine selection. Manager was very astute with wine and their choices on the list. Service was great. The lobster bisque was amazing!!!!! Food was okay, very bland.

Great choice of wines and locally sourced foods. The seafood buffet is excellent when they host it. Quality foods, prepared with precision. Service is always great.

I would travel back to this place just to eat here again. I'm serious when I say that they have a large menu....everything from salmon to biscuits and gravy! And the desserts were delicious...cakes, pies, cannoli, etc.

We went to Friday night dinner and therefore it was seafood buffet night. The buffet is huge and has tons of seafood offerings and even a prime rib carving. I'm personally not partial ot buffets, but my husband and son LOVED it. And would absolutely have that as a first choice restaurant to visit next time we go. They also... More
