Great Breakfast Choice Away From CamelBack Lodge

We were staying at CamelBack Lodge and decided to eat here for breakfast as the resorts breakfast was limited and overpriced. This place is only a mile down the road from Camelback Lodge. The Morning Toast is actually just the morning restaurant name for Barley...Creek Distillery Restaurant. They have a wide variety of breakfast foods at decent prices (resort areas are a little higher). I got the Nutella and Fruit Crepe. It was sooo much food. A large and soft folded crepe with layers of Nutella topped with bananas, strawberries and blueberries. I ordered a Chai Tea Latte. It was delicious. My husband got a Mexican Breakfast Burrito. Great portion sizes. Tip: They dont call it Morning "toast" for nothing. If you like alcoholic drinks with breakfast, they have you covered from cocktails to spiked coffee. Please bring a designated driver if you are going to drink as most people would not suspect this place having these types of offerings in the morning. The service was friendly and good. It was so good that we decided to come back and eat at their " dinner" restaurant later on that evening, but Barley Creek is for another review, even though it is the same place.More

Great breakfast food that's unique

Best breakfast

Had breakfast here on the morning of our last day in the area. Wish we would've come here sooner so we could have tried the flight of bloody Mary's. They looked DELICIOUS. Our waitress was super friendly and very patient. This place seriously has the...best staff. Portion size was perfect and the food was just as amazing as the night before when we went for dinner. Go here! I got chicken and waffles---AGAIN hahaha the rest of the family got eggs and pancakes and everything was seriously delicious.More

Great Breakfast

The Morning Toast is wonderful place for breakfast in the Poconos. The staff is friendly and accommodating. The menu has standard breakfast items and some interesting variations. Located just off the highway, the Morning Toast is worth finding.More

In a brewery

Excellent food in a Distillery. Great service. The waitress even help with some suggestions of places to go in the area. The food was delicious and served hot. A Pulled Pork Bennie for my wife and Waffle for me. Both tasty.

Outstanding Food

The food here was amazingly good. No complaints at all. Finding the entrance is surprisingly hard- no joke, you park your car and it is not very clear how to actually enter the building. Service was a bit slow for an empty restaurant. It was...frustrating when a couple who arrived 10 minutes after we ordered, received their food at the same time as we did. Not the most family friendly place- after all it is a brewery! Rock and roll music being played throughout restaurant, lots of alcohol themed bling.More

great breakfast

Birthday Breakfast

My husband and I traveled to the area celebrating my birthday. We made an awesome choice to have breakfast here! Food was delicious and equally wonderful was our server, Cori. She took the time to make some recommendations and give us great customer service!

Fabulous Breakfast

We went to The Morning Toast for family breakfast. Excellent menu options with great service. The veggie omelet was flavorful and their homemade multigrain toast is amazing. Great coffee too. Toast and Brew

I have eaten here for dinner but never breakfast- what a treat for me! I had the Nutella crepes and my husband had the Meatloaf omelette. I ate mine up so fast because it was amazing! I think the meatloaf omelette was okay, but potatoes...were not cooked through and the toast was not toasted at all (we had rye). When you go to butter the bread and the butter doesn't melt it kinda sucks because you want that oozy taste. Coffee was hot. I'd go try again to see if it improves and of course eat that crepe again!More
