I have frequented this restaurant for over 15 years and unfortunately have to write that I will no longer patronize them. While the food is still good quality, the service and customer support is terrible. Incident #1, we were charged an automatic tip without notice;...Incident #2 our food was not ready when we arrived to pick-up and it tood twice as long. Incident #3 we ordered food waited twice the time only to find out the our order was never submitted to the kitchen. What's really tragic is that this is the only good Indian cuisine in the area. Shame on me for giving them three times to get it right. Also, DO NOT PAY AHEAD!!!! They will ask for your card credentials over the phone and while that is not unusual, it becomes an inconvenience when issues arise. ~Disappointed FoodieMore

Excellent Dinner after Skiing at Camelback. The restaurant is in a remodeled stagecoach. It took us a while to get seated but the food was excellent. We had the Shrimp Vindaloo, the Chicken Tikka Masala and the Goat Biryani as well as Garlic Naan. All...items exceeded our expectations.More

We love Indian and this place is near to us but I’d rather travel 30 min to Easton or 1 hr to Edison NJ to get better quality and better tasting food. This place is old and not well maintained and that reflects in the...food. It’s near the Pocono outlets so a lot of tourists and out of state shoppers are here. This place could try a lot harder to be average.More

One of the best Indian buffets around - excellent menu too. Can be a bit spicy. Love the tandoori chicken, chicken tikka masala, and vegetable korma. Nan is buttery and fresh. Prices are very reasonable.

The food in this place was so delicious I don’t care how much it cost or how outdated the actual restaurant itself actually is! The food was soo fresh and spiced for the heavens. Everything came out piping hot. A little annoying how all things...must be paid for separately. I kind of was expecting certain main meats to come with at least a small bowl of plain white basmati rice but it must be purchased as a side for an additional price, at least $5. The decor is super quirky and kind of dingy looking but the train cart is really cool and AGAIN the food is so good I would drive to Tannersville just to have it again !!!More

The staff was friendly when we walked in and more than happy to explain the menu to us. We dined on many different items and were able to share. The tastes were incredible. Can’t wait to go back.

Decided to come for food.WORST DECISION EVER. Curry tasted like frozen veggies in blended marinara sauce. UGH WAITER WAS SO ANNOYING AND WE HAD TO ASK FOR WATER. My father had asked for chilies and onions( Indian taste preference) and never got that😔. And on...top of that horrendous meal we were astonished to find our bill adding up to 60 dollars for 2 curries, nann, and rice. They have a ridiculous rule of 15% gradtuity for their TERRIBLE service should be out of business by nowMore

Had the misfortune of being in the area very late in the evening and had to take dinner. It was a crowded place and expected the food to be fresh - but goat curry, fish curry, veg curries were tasteless. There is 15% gratuity added...automatically (we were 6 people). Only the nans were fresh and tasty - but nothing to go with it.More

The real Punjabi taste food & that too in a rail compartment is thrilling in PA. AAA certified and linked with many is this Tandoor Palace Indian Restaurant. A real train engine with coach nicely decorated giving you feeling of traveling & dinning to gather....Food is very delicious with a Indian test. A bar ,waiting area, -2-3- halls for seating. Buffet dinner available . All r good. Quick service with comforts. A nice place to visit.More

meal was good. but about service and atmosphere there was some biasness in their attitude. I felt if we get this treatment being Indian in Indian restaurant what can we expect in other cuisines.
