I'm originally from the NY/NJ area so I am accustomed to great food. I was pleasantly surprised by the food at Tarentum Station. The steak was a little overpriced but it was still very good and cooked perfectly. The mussels were delicious too. A couple trains came by as we ate and I just thought it was the neatest thing.... This restaurant is in an old train depot. Regular trains go by it and they are loud. The spaces in the parking lot are narrow so don't come with your huge SUV's or trucks. Our large private party (15) met upstairs. (They cannot accommodate more than 40.) I felt bad for our waitress who had to make all those trips.... More
This is a fancier place but we choose the tables in the bar area which are less formal. I've never had a bad meal here and sitting in the bar area doesn't change the service, food or experience at all. The wait staff is amazing. Real professionals. They go out of their way to make certain you have a great... More

Came for lunch with family; food was presented well and was fresh and nice. Soup was good and sandwich (half) was huge, on fresh bread. I would come back. Fresh salad and waiter was very nice! Hot rolls, basic, but fresh and good.
Went here for the 1st time to celebrate my mothers birthday--- was very happy to see a variety of items offered for every taste but not so large that you get overwhelmed picking. I will definitely go again. Prices range from 7.99 to 24.00---- but each 4 meals were presented with flare and pricing was not out of line.
This is the fourth third time we go this restaurant. Twice for business and twice personal. The corporate meals were good and the service was acceptable, but the two opportunities we were there, service, twice was not even close to par. The food is not different than other places, seems they order from the same supplier or they have a... More
