This was such a treat. From the moment of entry we were greeted by smiling and friendly greetings. In the entry area there were all the candies and food products that we had growing up, from Britain. It was so good we went back twice in three days for lunch. The curried chicken sandwich was exactly the way it should... More

I found myself near Wayne on a beautiful spring day so I drove to A Taste of Britain. I arrived around 1:30 without a reservation. They were able to seat me at a table for two. The first thing I noticed was how noisy it was. Almost every table was taken and everyone one was talking. It got quieter as... More

I recently went to a bridal shower here. They have an extensive tea menu, which is served in the traditional style with loose tea in individual teapots. The tea and the food are both delicious; you can choose from either the typical accompaniments, such as finger sandwiches and scones, or go for lunch. It was a bit crowded when we... More

My wife and I hosted a birthday party for my daughter and 7 of her friends. The menu is surprisingly varied with not only tea sandwiches and scones, but delicious soups, sandwiches and chicken pot pie. Our server Katie was very friendly and professional. This is a great destination for everything from a traditional English tea to a family celebration.

A friend took us here for afternoon tea while we were visiting the area. Quaint tea room with a wide selection of tea and scones. Wonderful experience!

Went to Taste of Britain expecting a rather stuffy old lady tearoom, but was so pleasantly surprised. Our tea was delicious, and our server was perfect (British accent, can't remember name sorry!) We enjoyed the tea sandwich selection, each one perfect, and the soups and salads were terrific. Yes, it was mostly women there....but that's just the men's loss. This... More

This restaurant had it all. Quaint atmosphere, lovely decor, and superb food and tea. With a full menu of intriguing entrees and sandwiches, I still needed to get the afternoon tea (as did my friend, and we saw quite a few of them go out while we were eating there-- almost every table). For $20 each, you each get a... More

Step back in time and enjoy the sight, smells and service. Great tea, of course, but delicious food too. Had the squash soup, Earl Grey Cream tea and scones. More time is required for British favorites.

After a few less prominent locations, the Taste of Britain, an English tearoom, is now firmly established and a popular spot in a cozy corner of the Eagle Village Shops. It is a delightful place to have tea and scones, or a full afternoon tea, and to chat in a comfortable atmosphere without the noise and commotion now so prevalent... More
