This was the best surprise find of our last minute road trip! Thanks to Trip Advisor we went out of our way. Leanne & Jill made us feel welcome & shared the history of the tavern. Our burgers were fantastic & the beer was cold! We hope to come back soon.

Found this gem on the way home from Niagara Falls. Just wandering and lucked out. Our bartender Leanne was so friendly and Jill the cook made the food worth the visit. Beer was ice cold and the place has quite an interesting history. I'd say go out of your way a bit to check this place out!

A neat spot off the beaten path that offers good food and prices that this flatlander can't believe!! We go here when we are in the area and are never disappointed. Nice size portions, good service and interesting signs, ect are on the walls. Price for a Absolute and tonic was $3.50. We are paying about $8 for that at home.... More

This used to be the company store in Antrim when coal mining was the primary industry in Antrim. It once had a population of 3000 people with a few churches. The town has very little in it anymore but there is Duncan's Tavern. There is a chandelier in the restaurant that came from one of the churches (no longer standing)... More

We stopped in after a recommendation. It doesn't look like much from the outside but once you get in and are greeted by the friendly and helpful staff, looks don't matter. We got there on spaghetti and meatball night. We even were offered sausage so we got some of both. Heaping plates were served hot and delicious along with garlic... More

This old mining town was the main place of business way back when. This tavern has stood the time and wear of the ages and still maintains it's quant standards. The owner who served us was telling the story about the tavern and we were all taken by the information. Also, her soup was outstanding and she even told my... More

The Duncan Tavern is located in Antrim, PA. The tavern is a mini museum containing artifacts from the bustling mining days when there were 3,600 residents crowded into this beautiful, little, mountaintop village. The Inn is located in the original Mining Company Payroll Office. The owners and staff are extremely personable and make you feel very welcome. They are eager... More
