We have not been here for a while and we were pleastly surprised that food, service and ambiance are still excellent. Burgers are very good, handcut french fries are yummy. Give them a try, you will not be disappointed.

Grew up and came her all the time as a kid and now as an adult. I can vouch that the appeal isn't just for locals. I have customers and colleagues who come in from out of town and just HAVE to hit "the Bear" for lunch or dinner specials when they're in town. It's low key, normal people. The... More

My stop here is the result of info on Trip Advisor. It's a great, low key place. Nice restaurant area and nice bar area. The menu is very friendly on the wallet and the staff is too. If you are looking for a nice meal in a nice environment stop here. Not sure how exterior looked as it was dark.... More

We stop here for lunch and dinner when we are in the area. Doesn't look like much from the outside but it is nice and quaint on the inside. Food has always been outstanding and the beer selection is very good. Staff have always been very friendly and service very good as well.

Stopped here for dinner after a day trip. We were looking for someplace to eat where we had never been before, saw all the cars as we passed The Crippled Bear Inn and decided to give it a shot. I thought it was only a bar. I was surprised. This place does have a bar, but it also has a... More

Traveling Route 15 we happened to stop at the Crippled Bear for lunch. It is a very attractive restaurant and bar with a long local history. There actually was a wounded bear in the story. You can read all about it on the dining room wall. The waitress was welcoming and the service was quick. Food was tasty and we... More

I like the Crippled Bear for their hamburgers and fries and very reasonably priced drinks. Typical bar food served hot and good. Usually have clam specials on Friday night. Always have specials of the day. Nice place to grab a bite to eat.

The Crippled Bear Inn looks a little rough from the outside but don't let the looks fool you. Inside is a warm friendly place filled with locals enjoying a few drinks and great food at very reasonable prices. It is located a few miles north of downtown Williamsport but it's well worth the drive to Enjoy the great food and... More
