I like going here for lunch. It's casual,so if you go right after the beach, you are ok. If you decide to eat outside you can eat on the picnic tables. There is also a 2nd floor. There's a beautiful fish tank upstairs to look at. New England clam chowder & clam cakes are good.

They know how to fry clam strips, they know how to fry Oysters. They know how to shuck Oysters and Clams. All the food is very good and since there is no service, the service is good too! All I would wish is for better wines in the small bottles!

Really good food in a totally no frills local dive. Absolutely worth a visit to experience local food without the touristy draw. Be prepared for a line and very limited parking, but it's worth it if you don't mind those two things.

If you want it fried, heres the place to go. Maybe they do not deep fat fry the lobster? Beach shack with typical fried foods, Fill the family up for a reasonable price, Take extra napkins. Tables provided at this take out were not cleaned and it was not very busy when we visited.

Even though their prices went up this year it is still a place worth going weekly especially during the summer months. Selection is somewhat limited but everything they do serve is excellent. Their clam chowder, clear or creamy, fried clams, clam cakes and calamari are particularly good. Portion sizes are good and service is very good. I prefer the shack... More

Try their fried clam roll or clam chowder and calm cakes. Old Newport beach front hangout. Also try the original Flows on Island Park in Portsmouth.

I admit, I was hungry, so I went for the Fisherman's plate without realizing, it was ALL fried. I never finished the plate, way too much fried in there. There are other items on the menu not fried, go for those, I certainly made the mistake. Long lines to order at meal times but you're on vacation. Draft beer was... More
