Beautiful historic inn setting for our anniversary dinner but the food was pretty bad. The signature popovers were overcooked on the outside but still undercooked inside so we left those. Next the pecan encrusted baked brie was supposed to come with green apple chow chow but it was not on the plate so without that brightness/sweetness, it was very bland... More

I have eaten here in the past and the food was good but the experience this time was different. Certain greens were not available, no carrots which were replaced with beans. Also ordered chicken pot pie but learnt after 15 minutes they do not have chicken pot pie available today. The available food was still flavorful.

I have reviewed South Graces Bistro before for lunch and brunch and always found it to be an exceptional experience. But, a recent dinner was not. We dined on a Thursday night with another couple. We were greeted warmly and the wait staff was just fine. It was the food that disappointed. First the signature popovers, and then two of... More

Outstanding brunch on Sundays with a menu that will please every palate. Omelets prepared to order right in front of you, lamb and salmon lollipops, wonderful grits and crab eggs Benedict just to start. Carving station, Mac n cheese, and so much more in an elegant setting. Drew was a superb server with a great personal touch! The desserts topped... More

My husband and I visited the Southern Graces restaurant for lunch, and it was just the most delightful experience. We both had the fried chicken, and ~wow~ it was memorably delicious. I rarely order friend chicken because I grew up absolutely loving my great uncle's fried chicken so much, I'm always disappointed made by anyone else, but in every way,... More

You get a great brunch for your money-even a bloody mary or minosa. They bring a popover just baked. I have never had better grits. There are many dishes to choose from that are different and interesting, along with all the normal brunch items. The only reason not a 5 star is the fried chicken was very dry, which I... More

Restaurant inside an inn which is open to public. Ate two meals there First dinner. Which was rib eye topped with pimento cheese. Hardy filling and delicate after a day on road. Service super friendly. Breakfast was a delight with banana foster turkey sausage. And made to order omelette made with much fun and flare by the chef

Southern charm and pleasant staff with delicious food presented with such beauty. The popovers and strawberry butter, shrimp and grits, she-crab soup, strawberry cake....ANY of the starters..too many to list of good eats. You must try and you will NOT be disappointed! You must bring your own alcohol if you are drinking, but there is no charge for their chilling... More

A quaint small restaurant in a large bed and breakfast in Beaufort Sc. If you like grits, eggs cooked in different ways including used to make omelette, sausages, bacon, English muffins etc then this place is a great place to visit especially if you are staying at the Beaufort Inn as it is included in your overnight fee. The food... More

We went to Southern Graces for a birthday dinner when visiting family in Beaufort. While we expected to have a nice dinner we were all pleasantly surprised at how excellent the food was. The popovers and strawberry butter was a fun starter and the appetizers of caprese salad and she-crab soup were very good. The stuffed grouper and the scallops... More
