Based on what people pay for award winning restaurants, this place is a win-win. Try the fried pig ears, sounds not to great, but they really are awesome.

Difficult to get a reservation here and you must call month or two in advance. It is so worth it. One of the best meals I have ever eaten. I ordered a red shrimp entree, and it was just wonderful. I would highly recommend this...More

I am so glad I put a calendar notice in my phone to make reservations for this restaurant. We were not disappointed with any course. The meal was delicious...tender, flavorful - I ate the Red Porgy and my husband had the lamb. BUT the best,...More

Steak special disappoints in taste and price. Was not the aged beef steak that was promoted and promised. Instead a cool cheap imitation served that was tough and tasteless. An even bigger surprise was the cost--$75. Twice the price of on menu steaks. Server should...More

My wife and I just finished dinner at FIG, and it was worth the hassle of fighting everyone else for a reservation thirty days ago. The service, food, wine, and ambience (we could converse without shouting, an amazement today) were superlative. Kevin was professional, knowledgeable,...More

I don’t see what the hype is all about. My meal in Circa 1886 was much better. Seems this restaurant created some vibe that is not at all deserved. Beet salad, pasta appetizer, grouper and chicken I could have eaten anywhere without a reservation a...More

This tiny restaurant is kne of the best in downtown Charleston. Always busy, so try to get a seat at the community table and meet new friends.

Loved it from beginning to end. The food was absolutely outstanding and the service was delightful. Ask for Morgan to help you choose wine. She is very knowledgeable both about the menu and the wine list and pairing them both for a wonderful dinner. We...More

I'm not sure. We had a reservation for just my wife and I. It looked like there were a few parties of 6 but the night I was there I didn't see any big groups. Doesn't mean they can't do it but just passing along my... More
