This is a great family restaurant!! I took my kids here and they split the shepard's pie. I had a taste and it was delicious. I had the seafood gorgonzola and I wish I had a second plate. For dessert, we had the guiness chocolate cake with cream cheese frosting...again rich and delicious. If you are looking for a home... More

This is a place that my wife and I make a point of visiting at least once a month, even now that we no longer live in that part of Charleston. Very friendly staff who will be sure to remember you and welcome you back. Great food. Excellent desserts!

A happy find on our way to the Magnolia Plantation. We had a low country breakfast with blueberry pancakes and an omelet with shrimp, broccoli and garlic. Very good food and the service was efficient and quick.

Highly recommend the Irish potato cakes - the flavors are fantastic (hints of rosemary with a cranberry apple jam that makes it a sweet, salty and tart treat for the tastebuds). Service was quick and the hostess was great!

Stopped for breakfast to discover a real Irish restaurant. Great food and authentic choices. I had the Irish breakfast which is rare for me to find. Wife had the pancakes. Both were delicious. Small place showing some age but the food says it all.

This is one of my favorite lunch venue. Every time I visited Charleston in the pass 20 years, I have eaten breakfast or lunch there at least once. I have seen servers come and go but the quality of the food is always the same...Great. One of my favorite dish is Fish N Chips with unsweetened ice tea...Yummy!

Blue Rose is located West of the Ashley on St Andrews blvd, Check the dinner hours as they are not open every night. The ambiance is warm and homey. The service was friendly and acceptable. Dinner included sea food chowder, 2 10 0z. rib eyes, meat loaf plate and a so so hamburger. Prices are much more pleasing than downtown.... More

We came to Charleston to visit a dear friend and wanted something different than the chain restaurants for breakfast. I enjoyed the spinach, mushroom and aged cheddar frittata immensely. It was very tasty and well seasoned with a lot of flavor. My man had the 8oz Ribeye (which seemed larger) and eggs. He said it was the best steak &... More

I have been passed this restaurant dozens of times, but as we were downtown heading West Ashley after Church decided to stop by and have lunch. It was amazing and I am mad at myself for not stopping sooner! We had Bloody Marys, Oyster Stew, Crab Benedict and excellent coffee. All were so incredible! They started us off with delicious...
