This is a nice little hidden gem. Quaint little Irish pub with friendly staff and decent food. Their Fish and Chips on Friday's is simply the best.

I read about this pub in The State newspaper and couldn't wait to try it. Wasn't disappointed. I entered on the Rosewood side because that's where the parking lot beside the building is located, not on Edisto. I first ordered the Tennet's lager to set the mood and then ordered the Bangers and Mash which was delicious. Best I've had... More

Went there to have some beer with a friend and was very pleased with the place. Small and looks like a house. Nice place to watch a soccer match. Food was average.

Friendly staff that knows beer. Good lunch specials including my favorite -the Rueben with sweet potato fries. The décor is world futbol (soccer) but you don't have to be a fan to be welcomed.

Stopped here specifically to meet an old friend of my husband's. We got there mid afternoon and got a chance to visit without it being too crazy. It's a soccer bar, but the owner quickly changed the channel for the basketball fans that came in. Great draft selection and the food was great! I had the chicken philly - which... More

We've traveled to Columbia many times and driven past this place, never realizing that it was even a commercial business. Friends asked us to join them there, and it made for a very nice early evening stop. Good selection of beers, and we had the black bean nachos and thought they were VERY good. The staff were quite friendly and... More

This place is the epitome of the local neighborhood pub and the food is excellent culinary concoctions vs. the run of the mill bar food. Servers are super! They seem to really like being there. The chef/manager (I think) knows what he is doing! We have become regulars.

Friendly place and great wait staff. Watched the women's world cup final here and had a great time on their back porch.

....and very happy we did. Hopped off the highway while passing by Columbia and did a random internet search for a lunch spot. We prefer non-chain local experiences and we were happy to see the C&B served weekday lunch. We sat at the bar and the staff was friendly and welcoming. I expected to have to order a British beer... If you like ferreting out local treasures for a true taste of a town, then this place is for you. Located in a tiny house in a downtown residential area near USC and the Capitol building, the Cock 'n Bull wouldn't cause a second look driving by, except for the line of devoted regulars and fascinated visitors on the front...
