Clean, cozy. Local artists display their art: pottery, paintings, glassworks, jewelry. Food is tasty.

The Place The Starving Artist Cafe is located in downtown Easley across the street from the city hall building. The name implies starving artist and there is art for sale as well. It has a great corner location with ample parking. It is also just off of Doodle Trail, so it's a nice place to stop after a bike ride.... More

food was very limited in selection, music was too loud, could no hear quest talking, and the prices were too high for the atmosphere

Thank you for taking time to write about The Starving Artist Cafe. We appreciate all feedback as it helps us to continually improve. Thursday Night Live is a once a month event in which we allow young local artists to practice their trade. We do limit the menu as it is typically High School aged kids who participate and attend... I decided to stop for breakfast while I was in Easley. I sure am glad I did! I ordered the Grits with cheese, scrambled eggs & Canadian bacon. It also came with a side of toast. I chose the rye and am glad I did. Nice and thick! This was only my second time eating grits. I had them differently... More

The big draw here is the live music. We went on a Friday night and a local musician was playing a variety of music. Very entertaining. If you don't go for dinner, try desert and coffee with the live music

I've been to Starving Artist for lunch and dinner. Both are great. You must try their baked Brie as a dinner appetizer. Sandwich type lunch menu with some variation, but more formal menu for evenings. Great for date nights or dinner and a show (at Foothills Playhouse about a mile away).

My wife and I wanted to grab lunch after riding the Doodle Trail, so we looked on Tripadvisor to see if there were any "cute" places to eat in Easley (we were really only familiar with the stuff along 123, and had never even seen the historic part of Easley) We saw the reviews and thought this place sounded exactly... Always love coming here for lunch. The local artwork is awesome, and the food is amazing and just the right amount. I got the Ruben sandwich with carrot salad. Their carrot salad is to die for! I could eat it everyday! Check it out, great local food and cool art.

We have been here a few times for breakfast. Excellent egg sandwiches! Haven't tried lunch yet but the menu looks great. Friendly staff and very nice location.
