While not my favorite place to eat on the island, Whaley’s has a few options that are good. The biggest issue I have is the service; it can be slow.

We never go to Edisto Island without eating here. Sushi nachos, Prime rib dip, Shrimp BLT. Good cold beer. A Must.

Great fried oysters and slaw, but for fish camp style food, a little pricey. Fried fish plate and fried oyster plate for $55.00 was a little much. However, the service and food was great.

Whaley's is exactly the kind of place my wife and I like to dine at when we're on vacation: locally owned, reasonable prices, big selection, and hearty portions. Plus friendly servers. Whaley's started as a gas station in the 1940s and boasts that It's one...More

We had heard so many great things about this place we had to go! Service was excellent, the inside has that dive bar feel, but the food is incredible! The Reuben was delish, the chips were crispy and those peanuts were Outrageous!!!! Make a point...More

A late afternoon lunch was in order when we stopped into Whaley's, a former gas station in town. The she crab soup I had as a starter, is one of the best I have had anywhere in the south. The service was quick, the food...More

I am sorry but we do not take reservations being a small restaurant. If you have a big party we suggest that you come in early to make sure that you are able to seat together.
