Went here on a first date. The staff was awesome, the food was great, and the ambiance was perfect. I had the surf and turf. It was the perfect amount of food.

The restaurant is located inside the Tides hotel. Aesthetically it is beautiful and very beachy. You can sit indoors looking out over the ocean or you can sit on the outdoor patio. The customer service was very good . That is where the good comments end. Remember this was breakfast so that's all I can speak to. We decided to... More
The Blu restaurant was a great choice. We had never been to Charleston before and our hosts showed us why everyone loves Charleston. The Blu was the last place we visited on our trip and it did not disappoint. The service was great and the food was even better. The view of the ocean and the pier is awesome around... More
Had a wonderful dinner with friends at Blu this week. Arrived early to get outdoor seating and was able to see pier and ocean while having a great diner and drinks. Surf and Turf was very nice but a tad salty. My wife's Gnocchi Vegetable dish was amazing. Very good service made the experience very memorable.
The Blue restaurant and bar have a wonderful view of Folly Beach and pier. The menu is great and there is a wonderful breakfast buffet. There wasn't a single item on the menu we didn't enjoy! The staff was very friendly and accommodating, and we were happy with our meals with a view!

I had the oyster po' boy and it was delicious. Servings were quite generous and pricing was reasonable. Service was a bit slow -- but we were at... More

We love eating outside, and that part was great. The breakfast itself was okay, didn't seem like much effort on the part of the chef. Food was... More
The food was really good, but the atmosphere left a lot to be desired. It made me think of the 60's beach movie, "Where the Boys Are". Too much going on in 1 place. My husband took me out for a romantic vacation dinner for 2 on the ocean and what we got was good food in a very unromantic... More
