St. James Place is a small family friendly neighborhood bar with good food at good prices. Patrons can dine at tables, booths, the bar or outside. The staff was friendly and attentive. The crowd was very diverse (a good thing). The food was prepared well. The menu is extensive. There is steak, rib, burgers, sandwiches, chicken and pasta entres, in... More

Was visiting friends and we went for a bite, I had the surf and turf (Prime Rib and Crab Legs), good portion and cooked correctly. Very good, service was good and pricing was on point with the meal.

Food was very, very good. The service could be so much better. The staff was super friendly and quickly handled what we needed, but with kids they need a little more help. Small issues like lids for cups, refills. Would try it again.

Love their chef salad with everything thrown on it as well as the very tasty croissant with melted honey butter.

We try to visit St. James Place at least once a month. We have never had a 'bad' meal there. Great sevice, reasonably priced.

We live a long way from Goose Creek, but whenever we have an excuse to be in the area, we head to St. James Place. The menu is varied and large. Don't miss the basket of croissants as an appetizer. We ate there twice in the last week and several dozen times over the last 6 years (when we discovered... More

We have had our last meal at St. James Place. First, the food is just ok. The Alfred is edible. The wait staff is ok. You can hear them discuss why people should never ask for lemon in their beverages...Germs. It's an ok place and meal, but we choose to go elsewhere.

5 at our table - 2 liked - 3 disappointed - corned beef not very good - crab balls way to much filling - just average - would try another restaurant.

Four of us stopped here for lunch. After having a couple of appetizers, we ordered sandwiches, soup and salads. Everything was served quickly and was very tasty. The server was personable and very attentive. Although they do serve alcohol, it is certainly appropriate for children. We would recommend this establishment to anyone.
