First time visit, came for the chicken salad sandwich which was moist, flavorful and delicious. Had sweet potato cake for first time ever -not something one gets in Chicago. Scrumptious. Husband had German chocolate cake - the BEST he ever had in all his German chocolate cake lovin' life. Such huge slices, took most of them home. Second visit, went right... More

This is a favorite for many locals. I've never had a bad experience here. The staff is super-friendly, and the food is delicious! The sweet potato cake is to die for! We often order this cake for special events or the holidays at our house.

A nice variety of choices for both lunch and dinner. But, be sure to save room for dessert. They are fabulous. the peanut butter pie will put you in a coma, the coconut cake is delicious. All desserts are made on site and they sell the piece at lunch and dinner or you can purchase a small, medium or large... More

We stopped in for dessert and were pleasantly surprised! Atmosphere is like an old fashioned cafe! We had the Sweet Potato Cake and it was amazing! They make their desserts onsite. Service was very good. Would definitely go back!

Nice menu with lots of choices. Good salads and sandwiches. Tasty, fresh, quality food. I had one of the specials which was a turkey burger with duck bacon on pita bread. Sounds strange but it was really good. A bit pricey but a good lunch. Desserts are good too.

Five friends stop by for lunch. The service was very good the food was very good and a good price range. The noise is a little distracting. It was loud. But it was a very good experience. One of the best Reuben sandwiches I've had in a long time. Will come back again

I'm gluten free, I get terribly sick when I eat bread. But I would get sick for this Sweet Potato Cake. Go eat it now.

Delicious food, prompt, friendly service, and, oh my, the cakes I can't resist. Don't skip having a cup of coffee to complete the meal. It's so good you might forget to eat your dessert! The atmosphere is nice with such interesting decorations. It is a bit loud, since it's in an open floor plan with no ceiling, but not so... More
