I read a lot of reviews before going here, and after my own visit I have to say that it's pretty much like the German version of an Irish pub. It isn't a fancy, go for your anniversary dinner kind of place. It's a pub atmosphere with pub type food. If you go expecting something romantic and upscale you'll be... More

Ordered a couple of German beers and a Schweinehaxe / Pork Shank with potato salad and cucumber salad. This was very good, should had ordered some bread to dip and clean my plate, this was for Lunch, I'll be back for Dinner, soon.

Casual lunch was relaxing and filling enough. Smaller portions of bangers and Nash with a German beer was the right amount of food. Love the atmosphere inside!

First of all my wife and I are German so we have quite a bit of comparison what it should taste like. My wife had the Jaegerschnitzel and I the chicken (Grillhendl) for starters we picked Obatzda with Pretzel. The pretzel was covered in oil, what is typical for the US servings but not German, but we could tolerate that,... More

I have lived close to this restaurant since before it opened, but I've been hesitant to try it because of a bad experience at a different German restaurant in the Greenville area some time ago. I was ready to be disappointed, and got a wonderful dinner instead! My husband and I went there for a date night and really enjoyed... More

I am not a fan of German food but good place to have a drink. Lots of sausages and German dishes that look similar to dishes in Germany. Light on a drink pour.

Went there for dinner with my wife and we were both very disappointed. The service was very slow to start with. We both ordered the Sourbratten dinner and both of ours was very dry, over cooked. with only a tiny amount of the sourbratten gravy. Right away we asked for more gravy & was told they would charge us an... More

The service was slow the food mediocre. I love german food snd this is the worse i have ever had. Came for hubby's birthday, he was so disappointed. Ordered sauerbraten, it was tough asked for more gravy since it was so dry snd was told it would be an extra $2.50. She did bring some on the house later. Spaetzel... More

This is a great place to visit and have some good German food. There is outside seating and inside seating as well. It is a smaller place dating back to the 1900's so the restroom is Unisex. Good German beer but the music is not traditional. Another good place to visit.
