So getting a reservation on Friday night in downtown Greenville is super hard. My husband decided at 6 pm we were going downtown so I called around. No luck. We were going to go by a bar but walked by Restaurante Bergamo (sister city of Greenville in Italy). I saw some empty tables so we went in and asked. We... More

Superb restaurant with a friendly , professional attentive staff. No problem in providing a vegan requirement for the diners. The restaurant is located on the corner of Main and coffee Street which was the center of the restoration of downtown Greenville. This restaurant was considered one of the first restaurants in Greenville to the truly fine dining in the international... More

Ristorante Bergamo has been around for a while, but is one of Greenville's gems. Perhaps its overlooked since it was one of the first in Greenville's downtown renaissance, but put it on your list if you are really looking for a great meal. A fairly small dining room is light and airy with lots of windows right in the heart... More

We had been looking forward to experiencing Bergamo for quite some time. We had been throwing ideas around and decided to walk in without a reservation. No surprise that the didnt have any seating until late, so we asked if we could possibly dine at the bar. Yes!! We had to wait about 10 minutes for someone to leave, but... More

My wife and I went there for her birthday. The service was very good and we liked the atmosphere. Warning that everything is ala carte, no salad or vegetables with either of our meals. The wine list is nice, but so expensive we had to settle for a glass each($11). The house wine was excellent, but disappointed we couldn't afford... More

Great atmosphere. Lovely style. Food was great. Staff was great friendly and great at their service. They knew the area well. And the specials. Food was very good. Well done and you could see the care that was used in the preparation. Nice wine selection. But the atmosphere was superb. A must try in my book.

This cozy Italian restaurant is in downtown Greenville on Main Street. It has nice Italian food, and especially tasty dishes. The service is good and the food in general is tasty. They have many Italian wine selections as well.
