Halls ous an amazing place to have a special dinner or a romantic night out. Food was exceptional. The steaks were perfectly prepared. The skillet corn and the roasted brussel sprouts were the perfect side dishes. And, you can't forget the creme brulee. The staff did an excellent job making us feel well welcome and they were very attentive during... More

My locally sourced swordfish was delicious. The presentation with asparagus and lobster mashed potatoes was appealing. The wine was enjoyable. Service was impeccable especially considering we had 19 adults in my group. This was my 3rd visit to Halls Chophouse, Greenville. I'll return.

We are lucky to get to eat in a variety of establishments around the country. I would put Hall's up against any of them. If I could eat only one restaurant meal, Hall's would be on my very short list of two or three that I would consider. Steak is the star and they are completely committed to cooking it... More

First off.... it was expensive. Five guest....two did not eat their dinners. I had an Italian dish. Left it on the plate. The boss left most of her steak. The service was active, almost too active. Several friends have enjoyed this but my last time there. Much better options around town and at Greenville prices instead of NYC.

Let me start by saying we prefer the Halls in Charleston for atmosphere. Which may be what throughs is off about this location. You feel as if you are in a fish bowl at times. However, The steaks are consistently good and the wait staff very knowledgeable. Extensive wine list and good hand crafted cocktails.

If you've been to Halls Charleston then you know great food and service. Greenville has a different vibe with wider open spaces and a modern feel. The food is outstanding as you would expect from Halls but the service is not as personal as Charleston. It was a very busy and loud Saturday night too. Overall it was a good... More

No steak of this Cost should have this amount of char on if - and even as a Rib eye - this amount of fat. Not Marbling - FAT - We had a large group and there was simply no point in trying to work around the issue. I have traveled and dined internationally and this was a letdown. I'll... More

Had our 5th anniversary dinner here and the setting was just perfect and the service and food was really good. My wife had a fish(dont remember kind), but she said it was cooked perfectly and I had the NY strip and once again perfectly cooked and had just enough juice and flavor, that this place can fight any top steakhouse... This is a well run steakhouses with very good service. That said it is hard to say that the food and service are worth the cost.

Greenville has some great restaurants and I would never make a claim as the best of anything if it didn't stack up to be just that. This was the best steak I have ever had. Our 5 out of town guests agreed that it was the best steaks they had ever eaten. That was remarkable as they are from D.C.... More
