We met a few couples for dinner at Saffron because we all enjoy Indian cuisine and the food here is above average. My wife and I shared the Tandoori assorted appetizer and then had the Shrimp Saag & Lamb Tikka Masala and Naan. Everything was full of great flavors and cooked just as we asked. They do a wonderful job... More
Awesome food - incredible service. This place is always packed. From the outside it does not impress but the food is memorable as well as approachable. The complex flavors really warm you from the inside out. We have had consistently good food here EVERY TIME WE GO! Finally got the chance to taste the lunch buffet and wish we would... More
Busy at lunch and parking is kind of tight. We were seated quickly. The restaurant was clean and well organized. We ordered the buffet. It had several selections for the meat eater and the veg. The staff kept updating the food and it was hot. They did not have goat or lamb on the menu. Desserts were limited to rice... More
Excellent buffet, the food is fresh the staff is very friendly and nice. I recommend to everyone that like or wants to try Indian food go for it.
Stopped in Greenville for the afternoon and night on the way to BlueRidge Parkway. Found Saffron on TripAdvisor. Since we love indian food decided to give it a try. So glad we did. Hubby and I shared Onion Bjahia, special dinner and Taj Mahal Lager. Plenty for the two of us. The food is delicious. Worth making a special trip... More
My family and I have been coming to Saffron for years, and needless to say we're addicted! I have traveled to many big cities and eaten Indian food there - New York, Paris, Barcelona - and I have never found Indian food as good as Saffron in Greenville. The buffet is absolutely WONDERFUL and the price is right. Would HIGHLY... More
Had the tandoori mixed grill with naan bread and kulfi desert (pistachio ice cream). Had the flying horse lager with the main course. Took the wife who, while hesitant at first to try indian food, ended the night very happy she had visited. Would highly recommend. Get here early on the weekend--it's very popular.
