In the most objective terms, this restaurant is typical of a family-owned establishment: you get a taste of the small-town generosity and flair that is what you'd expect from a small restaurant like this. However, I must caution that this isn't for the faint of heart when it comes to spice or even their alcoholic offerings: they deliver both, in... More

Jerk chicken, jerk goat & jerk lamb are my regular choices. The goat may be a bit of an acquired taste, but if you like lamb (and their jerk lamb is great) you will probably like the goat as well. They also offer D&G ginger beer, which is the best ginger beer available, IMOH (better than Blenheims). I just wish... More

they only had one dish for vegetarians - but what I had was very good. It is a small restaurant - and it was quite warm inside. We were a group on 5 on our lunch break so only had a hour. EVERYONE loved their food. Everyone (besides me) had the lunch jerk chicken and one the curry chicken. I... More

The first time I went, I had a beef patty and coco bread and it was good. I also ordered a chicken patty as well which was just as good though a little cold. The following week I had the curry chicken roti and it was so tasty. The only thing, the chicken had a lot of bones. If it... More

This restaurant recently reopened under new management. So the references to the old Jamaica Twist don't apply at this point. I've been to the new restaurant (Jamaica Mi Irie) twice now. The food was great. My husband got ox tails and loved them. I just had the beef patties, which were excellent. My daughters loved them as well.

I really enjoy good Jamaican food. The island of Jamaica is closer than this place comes to good food! The beans and rice was dry n seems to have sat for a few days. The chicken was so dry and devoid of flavor I wondered if it were pork. The wings were very over cooked, no second visits here. The... More

I am a lover of good Carribean style food. This place has the recipes that deliver on that unique jerk flavoring. I stopped by their booth at the food festival this fall, and could not get enough of the Jerk Chicken. I will continue to go back, because it is difficult to find this style cooking and I am happy...
