Stopped in here for lunch after a long bike ride to the toe of HH. Great looking out over the water, nice vibe with lots of people and different ages. Our We had the Salmon BLT and, she crab soup and a couple of cold pale ales. Los to choose from on the menu.

I'm kind of addicted to their shrimp and grits. Not too spicy but still well seasoned. This time my mom had a lobster pasta which was also delicious! They have good sweet tea and great drinks as well. Love the atmosphere. (A "Salty Dog Cafe" has been built in Blufton in Tanger outlet but it is still worth paying to... More

Great food, service and views. We always have to come here when we visit the island. This was our first visit not staying right next door so we only got to eat there once but it didn't disappoint. I added Cajun chicken to the veggie pasta this time and it was amazing!

My wife and I along with our three year old son had dinner here despite our less than pleasant experience last year. We were very pleased with the entire experience this year. We sat outside by the water and found it quite peaceful. I had the shrimp and grits and can say maybe the best I have ever tasted. My... More

While we cooked for most of our vacation, we did go out for a few nights and one of them was to Wreck of Salty Dog. As other reviews have said, it is a great alternative to Salty Dog, the menu is the same and they have a great outdoor dining area overlooking the marsh. Our waiter was super friendly... More

Every year we come here because it's tradition and we can walk to it from where we are staying. I always get their crab soup which when I first had it a decade ago was fantastic, I had it 3x. Not sure if my tastebuds have changed, but it doesn't have the same awesomeness. And they don't have GF bread... More

Stopped in for a light dinner after returning from the Salty Dog Happy Hour cruise. The gumbo and she-crab chowder were outstanding. The Happy Hour cruise was outstanding as well. The staff was very friendly and informative. The 90 minute boat ride provided some of the best views for a gorgeous sunset. We even saw a few dolphins.
