My wife and I are checking out the Charleston area and are staying in Isle of Palms. It just so happens that this restaurant is right across the street! After an 8 hour trip, Acme is a welcome treat for the hungry traveler! Atmosphere is jumping with activity, a good sign for a great place. Got seated quickly after some... More

Our first trip to Isle of Palms. One of our party rarely goes to restaurants because of noise. It was cool but the outside porch was comfortable, with no loud background music. The food was great, the service fun, and impeccable, thanks to Kyrston and Subrina. Would be a regular if we were local!

Staying within walking distance we visited here looking forward to a good breakfast. The menu is complete and we all enjoyed our food very much. We are all tea drinkers and were prepared (by looking on line) for the fact that Acme's hot tea is only "mighty leaf organic hot tea". That is not our style so we asked for... More

I was led to Acme Low country by a local and mighty glad that I was. I had the seafood pasta and it was the most delicious meal I could have had. On top of that the service and atmosphere was pure small town beach. Loved it and will return!

Ate at Acme Lowcountry Kitchen for lunch today ~ great choice! It's a small, very casual place, near the beach, on Isle of Palms. We had a short wait, but enjoyed a delicious Bloody Mary and our table was ready before we could finish them. I had the Whistlestop Shrimp & Grits which were delicious ~ pimento cheese grits, topped... More

This is great spot. When you see a packed parking lot for breakfast, you pull in. You will not go hungry here. The Local Breakfast and Rockefeller Benedict.

I will start by saying the service was great. We did not have one problem with the service. On the down side I will say the food was average. It wasn't terrible just average. My wife and I had two separate dishes and felt they were both pretty boring and bland. At the price point of $120 with tip for... More

Great meal. Erin suggested several specials for my wife and I to try and we were not sorry. The food was excellent and the staff as great.

The place is not too impressive outside and a little dark inside but the food was great!... but the dinner menu was a little pricey. The weekend menu includes breakfast and then brunch which had more reasonable prices. I ordered the East Coast Fried flounder with fries, hush puppies and slaw. There was enough flounder for a family! It was... More

We love Charleston and that city certainly has more than its share of great restaurants, but, candidly, there is NO RESTAURANT in Charleston that has better food than Acme Lowcountry Kitchen. You can pay twice as much at some fancy places in Charleston but, trust me, the food and service will not be any better. Not only is the food... More
