A friend recommended The Parson's Table and we made reservations through Open Table. The restaurant was part of an old church and there is an array of beautiful stained glass throughout. The food was excellent. They first came out with crackers and dip. A bowl...More

Don't pass up the Parson's Table, you have to go. So, I've been coming to the grand strand my whole life. I'm constantly looking for something better. I've tried many places in Murrels Inlet and in the NMB area and I'm never really blown away...More

Celecrated our 56th anniversary at the Strand's best restaurant. We began coming in the 1970s and the Murrays continue to serve first rate seafood, steaks and specials. A solid wine selection, and very competent servers. Located in a former church, it continues to be one...More

Excellent menu and attentive staff, even at the bar. Best to make reservations as the turn-over is slow, this experience is an event, not just a meal. Savor every bite, enjoy the atmosphere and you'll leave the old church feeling thankful!

We always visit this quaint restaurant when we come to the beach. Reliable service and food, but our last visit we noticed our entrees were not quite up to par. My husband's lamb was small as were the dime sized oysters, and my filet was...More

This place is amazing! Nothing like fine dining in an old church. The service is top notch. The food is even better. If you enjoy a great atmosphere and fine dining then this is the place.

Shorts would be fine. It is formerly a church but nothing too fancy in its setting or decor, other than some really spiffy menu selections!

Usually that day will be okay. In the height of tourist season, I would suggest a day in advance.

Description
Not only can you get a juicy roast prime rib at The Parson"s Table, but you can eat it inside a church, too. The location remains very much the same structure that it was in 1885, when Little River Methodist Church was built. The cherished establishment first opened its church doors as a restaurant in the late 1970's and has been serving exquisite American steakhouse fare ever since. The restaurant's decor is positively Southern-charm antique, complete with dark wooden walls, stained glass windows and an original Tiffany glass lamp in the main dining room. An award winning wine list graces The Parson's Table as well as an outstanding fresh seafood selection.
