This store has a lot of produce and other things that you don't normally see. We actually had a fantastic lunch in their restaurant. They even had the sweetgrass baskets, but not a large variety.

The Market Cafe inside the Boone Hall Farms market has great food. I was seated right away and the platter came with two sides and cornbread. The fried flounder was fantastic with a side of homemade mac and cheese and grandma's style of green beans with bacon and onion. Started off with a cup of she crab soup too before... More

This place is really neat with homemade specialty items! There are shelves and shelves of homemade pickles, relishes, jams and jellies!! They also have a wide variety of wines. They have baked goods, local produce, ice cream and a cafe! They also have southern treats like benne wafers, grits and wreaths made from fresh cotton! There was a delicious looking... More

I like to buy my salad items here because it's local, seasonal, & organic. It's also wallet/pocketbook friendly. This week, I had my husband & 5 year old daughter with me, so we decided to eat lunch in the adjoining cafe which serves the farms produce & other local fare to complete its menu. Today, we chose the weekly special... More

We have shopped in this market quite often. Most of there produce is locally grown on their plantation. The plantation is about one mile from store. This is a smaller market, but it has some great selections, that you wont find in a large supermarket. We bought, the first of the season their fresh strawberries. The were very large, and... More

Stayed in Charleston for a youth soccer tournament and looked for something good to eat between games. Boone Hall Farms was the perfect location and well suited not only for the boys but adults as well. I ate the fried flounder with sweat potato fries and enjoyed a glass of the local wine in honor of national wine appreciation day.... More

Went to Boone Hall Farms Market Cafe because online they said they jad a Sunday brunch... they did not. That was disappointing. So we had food that really was bland... i had their chicken salad plate... needed lots of salt to add flavor. Wouldnt eat there again. Ordered a salad and a sandwich... and it took almost 40 minutes to... More

We spent Wednesday, our last full day in Charleston, at Boone Hall Plantation in Mount Pleasant and decided that it seemed only natural that we dine at the cafe inside Boone Hall Farms Market, a separate side operation of Boone Hall Plantation although it is located a mile or so from the plantation on U.S. 17. We liked the country... More

This establishment is primarily a farm market grocery store and the cafe is not easily seen when you first enter. My wife had a shrimp salad sandwich with mac & cheese as a side; I had fried flounder with sides of mac & cheese and red rice. We were both happy with our selections - in fact, this was perhaps... We popped in here after we had done the plantation just to see what the market was all about. The have a small café here so we decided to have a bit of lunch. They had clam chowder on as soup of the day so my wife and I decided to each have a bowl of soup. It was excellent.... More
