Luckily we had gps or finding this place may have been difficult. It is pretty unique, a great setting with local shrimp boats moored outside and a nice rustic feel. The seafood tasted, as expected, really fresh and was delicious. Served on disposable plates made...More

Highly Recommended by a local who loves it. Couldn't find place because there is no SIGN. Walked in thru back door of this Joint. Very disappointed with this place. Gumbo was gritty, like it was from the bottom of the pot. Ordered shrimp scallop combo...More

Have not eaten at this restaurant in 18 years because of time, distance and circumstances. The decor and ambience has not changed and neither has the excellent taste of the food. Able to smell the salt air and pluff mud only adds to the uniqueness...More

Well aware that this near impossible place to find was low budget on appearance. Paper plates, paper table cloth and you have to circle your order on a paper menu. Knew all of this having been there before. However the food was over priced and...More

The Wreck of the Richard and Charlene is fun just to find. The only have fried food. The experience of waiting for your table by the dock is always fun.

A fresh slice off Kraft paper is pulled off the roll by your server to cover your wooden table, and she takes your drink order and serves it up promptly while you peruse the same usual menu they've had forever. The screened in 'porch' is...More

A chef recommended the Wreck for the best local seafood. We agree. Not fancy, paper table cloth, freshest shrimp and fish.

We did not have reservations, do not think they take them. We did have to wait a while but it was not extremely long and the food was worth the wait.
