I'll tell you why: they truly understand how to serve delicious cuisine and display Old World hospitality. My visit was on a weeknight in December (definitely the off-season in Myrtle Beach) and the restaurant was nearly full. What does that tell you? My experience is that if the locals eat at a restaurant in a resort town, it's usually pretty... More

Food and service was amazing. Ambiance of fine dining with reasonable prices. We had leftovers for another meal!

I ordered cannoloni di carne. The meat filling was seasoned with basil and nutmeg, and was ground to a creamy texture. Delicious doesn't even begin to describe how good it was. The rolls were homemade and served directly from the oven. The accordion player was delightful, playing Italian tunes, taking requests, and circulating among the tables. The cannoli was to... More

Not only was our meal delicious, the service was good and Micheal played the accordion and any request we came up with! The bread/buns were warm when served. I had veal which was the best I've ever tasted! It almost melted in my mouth! There were 6 of us and everyone loved their meals.

We live in MD, but come to Myrtle Beach about 4 times a year. We make a point to visit Villa Romana every time. NEVER disappointed and always leave with food to take back to our SC home. Wait staff is friendly and professional. The owner and his wife try to make everyone feel welcome. And the accordion player, Michael,... More

This place is fantastic! I have never had a bad meal here. I ate here last night and had the seafood pasta in a white wine sauce...awesome! The bread is fresh and the antipasto fantastic. Service was great and so is the accordion player. This is my favorite restaurant in the US...

Cannot complain about the quality of food. The veal parm was hot, tasty and plentiful. The shrimp parm was good too. Had enough to take home. We requested Tim our usual server but he was off. We were served by someone else. We felt rushed, as if our presence didn't matter. No attention, no personality and we were out the... More

I read all the reviews. Villa Romana was praised by many. Great Italian food, & a lot of it! My husband & I were looking forward to a great dinner. Unfortunately, our dinner was not great at all. Average, maybe, but definitely not great. There were plenty of rolls, which were hot when served, but the abundance ended there. My... More

I work as a professional waiter so had to have an early Christmas dinner with my folks and this place had come highly recommended. First there are over 1400 places to eat in myrtle beach area and this is to me in the top 5 for Italian. The server was as professional as myself and made the night very comfortable... More
