No fancy recipes here. Broiled, fried, steamed it's perfect. On this last visit I tried jalapenos stuffed with crab, broiled scallops, fried oysters and fried catfish. All could not have been better prepared. Seafood cools quickly but at our table of nine the plates arrived...More

A very interesting, fun place to visit - especially with kids. Lots of ducks and peacocks swimming in the moat in front of the restaurant. The grits and hush puppy's are available for the taking - all that you want. The cat fish is fried...More

We have been eating at Old Macdonalds for 15+ years. Food is good, but they have gotten expensive. Last night's dinner was over $50 for two people. I had the low country boil, my wife had catfish filets, with a fried pickle appetizer, she had...More

Food was just average along with the service. Atmosphere overlooking lake was nice, but the best part is feeding left over fries to the goats.

Always great! Save room for your main course ... grits and hushpuppies are so good! Kids love the ducks and goats.. fish and shrimp so tender. So worth the trip!

The large Saturday night crowd caused a 45 minute wait. Very slow service and a long wait for Luke warm food that include the greasiest & limpest shrimp I've seen. My shriveled baked potato wasn't warm enough to melt butter. In fairness, my fried oysters...More

The setting is beautiful, located on a small lake, this restaurant has been in the same location, and owned by the same family for over 30 years. The food is amazing. I had the low country boil, and the shrimp were perfectly cooked, and tasted...More

They have the best seafood in the Augusta/Aiken area. It's a bit of a drive in the country but it's well worth it. The restaurant is set on a large pond filled with catfish and ducks. There are all types of farm animals around the...More

I am not aware of any "specials' except for crab legs offered on Fridaynights. The food is very good, and the settings is verrrrrrrrrrrrrry casual. If you order the "small plate' of either catfish/flounder filets, you... More
