Once again, 21 Main did not disappoint. Andrea was wonderful and got hubby and I in on Christmas Day. Thank you, Andrea, for making time to call me back. AJ was our server, and he was so good that when we next book at table...at 21 Main, I will definitely request AJ. The steaks were like eating butter - that's how good they are; and the Garlic Balsamic Asparagus and the Garlic Mashed Potatoes were perfect. Not overloaded with garlic, just a hint. I had wine and hubby tried the Kentucky Peppermint Chocolate Stout. He loved it so much that he's off to Total Wine to purchase some. I wish we could have tried appetizers or dessert, but I couldn't eat all that was on my plate as it was. Hubby finished my steak the next day. I think next time we go, I won't eat for 48 hours!!! This restaurant is not inexpensive, but I have to tell you, it was worth every cent! Thank you so much, 21 Main at North Beach; and thank you, AJ.More

In a time where your money does not go as far you pay closer attention to good food and good service, but this is not what my family recently received and after speaking with Steve the manager it is highly unlikely you will receive it...either if you dine at 21 Main Street. Made reservations and informed them that this was my daughters birthday (should have listened to her as she wanted to go to Thoroughbreds Chophouse). They started to seat us directly in front of their elevator in a loft area that over looked an incredible loud large party which garnered all of the staff’s attention. They were able to move us only after we were about to leave. Took over an hour and a half to receive our Soup and salad, an additional 40 minutes after that for the entrees which were sub-par, lacking flavor even with the additional wine reduction sauce. With so many other local choices available such as NY Prime, Thoroughbred, Soho, and Bistro 90, save your money and headaches by not visiting this establishment. As a business owner I always welcome feedback as this is how I improve, when I called the following day to let Steve know our experience he actually stated don’t come back. It might behoove Gerald and Matthey Scollan to either properly train or replace the management as they are clueless on customer service.More

There was a private party in the main dining room. We were ushered upstairs to be seated in the loft area right outside the elevator. When I addressed the The hostess that this would not be acceptable she did move us. The party downstairs was...so loud there's no way we would've been able to hear each other. We were here to celebrate my daughters birthday. We were moved into a private dining area where there was two other tables which was much better. It took an hour and a half for us to get soup and salads after our appetizers. Then about an additional 35 minutes to get our steaks. Our server did comp us 2 desserts. The large private party was definitely the focus. They should have not have taken any reservations. It was too much for the staff to accommodate everyone. Our dinner was $550 which was expected but it was not the experience we paid for last night. To make insult to injury, my husband called to inform the manager what happened last evening and my husband asked him to give him a reason to come back and was told by Steven - perhaps you should not bother coming back!!More

Made our reservation on line at Open Table a few days before our arrival in Myrtle Beach, I was surprised that I didn't receive a confirmation text as I normally do with Open Table reservations. We arrived at the restaurant on time for our reservation...and the Maitre D at the door was welcoming and confirmed our reservation. He asked us to wait a moment and he left to check on a table, returned and escorted us to our table. Our server greeted us and inquired our beverage order and did well to explain the service and menu of the restaurant. His name was Matthew. I ordered a glass of King Estate Pinot Noir and my guest ordered an iced tea. Matthew returned with the beverages and took our order. I ordered the French Onion Soup ($11) and my guest ordered a Caesar salad ($12). We both ordered the 16oz NY Strip Steak ($55). I asked for a blue cheese topping ($4) and my guest ordered a compound butter ($4). We ordered a half portion of creamed spinach ($8) and sauteed mushrooms ($8). I sipped a taste of my glass of wine and noted immediately that it was off flavor. I called Matthew over to the table and explained that the wine was skunked. He explained that he saw the bartender pour a little from an older opened bottle before opening a new bottle, he then apologized and went and retrieved a new glass. The new one was fine. Food was served in a timely fashion. The steaks were almost totally void of any fat covering and totally lean. Cooked to perfection they were excellent. My onion soup was made with an excellent beef broth and melted cheese. The half sides were just perfect for us. The bread service came a bit late after our entrees were served. The bread was warm and very good. Matthew did well to inquire if we wanted dessert but we passed. Matthew could have enhanced service by doing a bit more to build a rapport with us with some conversation during his service. All in all a very good high end upscale steak experience. Highly recommend this restaurant.More

The food and ambiance definitely deserve 5 stars! The filet is amazing as is the shrimp. This is a must on all of our visits to North Myrtle.

Excellent food and service. Prime steaks and seafood the specialties. Wife had the pork chop, I would rate it in my top 3 all time. I had the filet, excellent.

This place is great for all occasions. The food has always been good, the service majority has been good as well, and overall it’s a great place amongst the many bad locations within Myrtle. All the servers are super polite, and well mannered, but there’s...one person named Mark I believe? Who is a manager at the location. I’ve eaten there dozens of times, and I consistently see him belittle his staff, put them in uncomfortable situations. He’s always directly rude to them, and I honestly do not believe he has any reason to not be let off there. Being in a successful restaurant industry myself, managers are suppose to be respectful, but have a good sense of control in the locations. It’s disappointing I see someone who doesn’t really know how to properly manage constantly treating workers like they’re emotionless dogs, and I heavily think it would be a five star location without him taking away from everyone’s positivity, and overall setting down the mood.More

Today was my wife’s birthday and we are staying at 1905 North Towers. We were told at office to eat here. We called today at 1:10pm left voice mail. I had to call back as they never returned my call. When I talked to them...they said they couldn’t here my voice mail, when I could hear them perfect. They are a poor excuse at following up. With this happening I would never eat at this place. Just think if this happen probably the service is the same.More

They didn't offer happy hour when we were there. They have a great wine and cocktail selection.

It's pretty casual down here but this is a pretty classy place so we always wear sundresses or a nice pair of pants (long or cropped) and a nice top ... a coverup is good too since it's pretty cool insite.
