Awesome food and cool atmosphere. Step back in time into this converted general store to enjoy down home treats such as collard greens,. cobbler, fried chicken. hush puppies, pork barbecue and more. Our waitress and cashier also rolled out a big helping of southern hospitality as well. This place is a little bit off 95 but worth the trip.

Excellent ribs, my favorite. The tomatoe pie and sweet potato casserole are to die for.... Love the atmosphere, almost like a museum.

We stopped here with four kids 20 mo-14 and two adults. The food was delicious and fresh and the service was great. Plus it was only $55 with tip! The store is super cute and there was a live band.

My best friend and I needed to catch a train in Charleston, so her parents wanted to fill us up with real good food before our train. After lots of zigging and zagging through lots of country back roads, we arrived here. Upon setting foot inside, I was immediately taken by the atmosphere; it was though I had set foot... More

This place has country atmosphere that takes you back 100 years! The buildings were moved from a remote location of a little town called Lone Star. The barbecue is excellent, and the sides are authentic Southern comfort food. If you're there on a good night, you'll have free country or bluegrass music from some of the locals!

We were hungry and this is just the place to go for that. The Sunday lunch buffet is a little extra special with an extra entree on the buffet and a dessert counter. First, it is all you can eat and the Barbque is delicious. Along with that there is Fried Chicken and today was Shrimp and grits. There are... More

One of the best southern comfort food restaurants ever. Everything is served buffet style, fried chicken, smoked ribs, collard greens, green beans, pulled pork, and lots more. We were there St. Patrick's Day and they even had corned beef and cabbage. For dessert, you have to try their bannana bread pudding. Just fill up a plate, find a table and... More

This is down home southern cooking at its very best. The stars of this show are the pulled pork with different barbecue sauces as well as the best fried chicken you ever ate. This is buffet style at its best with shrimp and grits, okra salad, mac and cheese, tamale pie, black eyed peas, homemade potato salad, cole slaw, cucumber and tomato... More

This was a pleasant surprise for a buffet. Our family of 4 enjoyed everything we tried. We would consider it an upscale buffet with a good variety. The setting in the old buildings was authentic. We would definitely stop again when we are in the area.

We found this resturant only because there was a flier about it at our hotel. We were happy we went there and would return again. The small buildings from the 1800's contained a lot of original memorabilia. It is open only Thursdays through Sundays for lunch and dinner. We had the dinner buffet and it contained good Southern classic dishes... More
