We love spot on the alley. We have eaten there several times. The wings are amazing and their burgers are great as well. They have karaoke and bingo on certain nights of the week and during the summer they participate in jazz on the alley which is a super cool event around here. I would not recommend bringing kids on... More

Got takeout last Saturday night. They were quite busy with diners and bar patrons plus it was karaoke night. I was stunned at the number of older folks that performed. Anyway, I had to wait quite a while for the food. Maybe 30 minutes. I did call ahead but they underestimated the time to get everything ready. The food was... More

This is a bar like I went to in college days. The food is good bar food, very large servings at very reasonable prices. There are pool tables & a variety of evening events, like trivia. A band was setting up on a Sat. night. It is open when every other restaurant in Seneca is closed. I was there with... More

We were staying in Salem, SC and went to Seneca to do some shopping. We stumbled upon The Spot on the Alley and boy are we glad we did! Awesome food, HUGE portions and great prices. Wait staff is very personable and the facility is spacious and cozy at the same time. We will be returning next time we take... More

Nice place for bar food. Wings are great! My wife and I have been here many times and would recommend it for a laid back , chill place to have a craft beer or drink.

We stopped in here after looking for a local place on the way to Bryson City. It was a late lunch, near 2 pm. There was only a few people in the place. Ordered the fried pickles for appetizer. Outstanding. I had the buffalo chicken sandwich and my wife had the Philly cheesesteak sandwich. Both were awesome. The side of... More

Went here for dinner, which was average, but the cool thing was how great of a local bar this is. Bartenders negotiating spicy sausage deliveries for Saturday's special. The patrons all know each other and ask an out of towner like me what I'm doing (in a good and welcoming way). I really relaxed and loved this bar.

Visiting Seneca while Clemson was playing for the ACC championship, my husband and I dropped in on the Spot on the Alley for supper and the game. Seneca is pretty quiet even on Saturday night and this bar/restaurant fits the town. The clientele skews older and the exuberance is restrained so you don't get blasted out by noise and frat...
