I would have not found this spot except for trip advisor. Although it's in a nice location, only a block or two from the old downtown area, it was clean and modern inside with quick friendly service and we'll prepare southern breakfast dishes. Grits were creamy, biscuit were unique. Nothing extravagant, just good basic food. I had the prime rib... More

Best turkey, dressing, and macoroni and cheese pie I've had since grand ma cooked it.The green beans were cooked like they were supposed to be, not standing in water like a lot of places to. It was very clean and it was a friendly place to be.

went here recently for breakfast. eggs, bacon, grits, and biscuits and of course coffee. I ordered my eggs over easy but they came out sunny side up. My only complaint. I could have sent them back but I didn't. The bacon was perfectly cooked and plentiful. I think it was 4, maybe 5, strips. My husband's sausage patty was huge.The... More

For a hearty cooked to order breakfast at a very reasonable price, you can't beat Betty's. Plain and clean.

If you ever yearn for some home cooked food this is the place to go. Waitress recommended the burgers and she was right! They were large and not greasy and delicious. I tried pinto beans and cornbread and it brought me back to my grandfather's cooking. It was real cornbread not the sweet stuff people call cornbread. They only take... More

I have heard how incredibly amazing this place is but was warned the service is lacking. I will start with the service. There was one lady working the tables, the register and disappearing for long periods into the kitchen (so was she cooking too?). It took about 90 minutes from order to get our food (standard breakfast items, table of... More

The parking was very convenient. The employees were very helpful and friendly. The biscuits were very big and tasty. They are open on Sunday which is a big plus for us. My only complaint was they served grits and would charge extra for something else.

Thankfully, the other restaurant we stopped by had too long a line to wait in. Looked on Trip Advisor and found this little gem. 10:30 on a Sunday morning group of 9. Some of us had breakfast / some lunch. Everybody left full and satisfied. Great food, and Southern hospitality.
