Al's Oasis is a must for every family heading to or from the Black Hills. I used to stop here multiple times a year as a kid. Clean and friendly with a big portion of old style home cooking! The pie is a must! Slightly disappointed in the hot turkey sandwich this go around...the gravy was SO salty I needed... More

This is a very unique property in the middle of SD...wow what an unusual place. The meal was well prepared and enjoyable after a very long day on the road. The staff could not of been nicer and attentive. Would recommend this dining establishment to any traveler heading through SD on I-90.

a group of us ate here after pheasant hunting. Steaks were good, but prime rib was marginal at best. good salad bar. prices on the high side considering quality and ambiance.

We stopped here after a long day of hunting near Fort Thompson. It was recommended as a great local spot. The service was awesome, the salad bar had lots of choices and the dinner was served quickly and came nice and hot. And to top it off the pie was homemade!!! Every bite was simply nummy!!! Great way to end... More

Oasis is right. There aren't many other places to eat in this town. It looks like a long-time family operated business. Expect pot roast, fried chicken, chislic, apple pie... The food was good, the service a little slow, but the prices were right. There is a gift shop and supermarket within the same mall.

We tried the restaurant in out hotel at Cedar Shores. it was not good at all. So we tried Al's. It is fine. It has good food, good service at a fair price. We ate here several times the week we was in town. We had a group of 8 that was here to pheasant hunt. This is real food... More

** A bank, a supermarket that sells both bananas and ammo, a huge gift shop, a saloon and a restaurant, what else could you possible want? Plus, friendly people, large parking and views of the great Missouri river. You can even stay in your RV overnight on their truck parking at no cost. No hookups. **

We all ordered ala carte in spite of the buffet. We were a group of 12, but the service was good and friendly and the food was hearty. The pies looked so good that we came back at night just for the pie. The pies were fresh. The strawberry was pretty good but the coconut cream was not as tasty... More

Probably most famous place to eat, food for hunting groups with full bar, has a buffet that is pretty good, also has grocery store in the same building, can buy hunting license and shells at grocery store and is usually cheaper than cabellas, one of our main places to eat on annual pheasant hunt

Thank Robert P
