My friend wanted to try this place after hearing an ad on the radio so we stopped by for lunch this weekend after the Pow Wow. I'm Mexican so yes my standards are very high but this has to be one of the worst Mexican restaurants I have ever gone to. First of all the place reaked of "Fabuloso" disinfectant/cleaner,... More

I was told about this restaurant by a Co-worker who said it was really good authentic mexican food. Today my wife and i tried it. The building is old looking and appeared closed, but it was open. At the time we arrived, about 5:30pm, we were the only customers. Others did come in later. I ordered a chicken Chimichanga which... More

Went here for dinner tonight. This is a small, family-owned Mexican restaurant featuring Michoacan recipes. For a small restaurant, there is an extensive menu with several unique items. I had the shredded chicken in mole sauce, and was wowed by its flavor and quality. Even the refried beans and Spanish rice were excellent. Our waiter George was friendly and professional,... More

Tacos, enchiladas, chimichanga, tamales...all some of the best we've had! We were pleasantly surprised when we opened the door to the restaurant. It was cheerful and clean with plenty of booths. Friendly service with lots of menu choices. Glad we stopped when traveling through Rapid City.

We loved the food at this place. The first time we stopped there was a lady who claimed to be the owner. She was awesome. The second time different workers service sucked but the food was good. Tonight we stop in at 7:30PM and we were told we had to place our order to go. They refused to serve us... More

One star for the chips and salsa, one star for the iced tea and one star for the quick service. I am slightly irritated while I am writing this, why oh why oh why would you serve a small child a ground beef taco that is so spicy he couldn't take more than 2 bites and now he is crying... More

The outside looks nondescript, but inside the food is delicious and (as far as we can tell) authentic. The deliciousness starts with the chips that come out before the meal and usually doesn't stop. Often, one can hear the waiters conversing with customers in their native Spanish.

Food was fresh and good flavor. Service was a little slow. We had to request refills. Prices were high for amount of food.

Stopped in here for lunch on a Wednesday early afternoon. Was given a dinner menu with prices from $12-$19 per entrée. Asked for a lunch menu and was provided with a 3 x 5 card with six different chicken specials written on it. Had the two chicken tamales for $6.95. Came with rice and beans and was fair at the... I have eatin at both sabor resturants, one in Rapid City and the new one in Keystone. The one in Keystone, hands down is GREAT, location is hard to find. they are off the main street and in a 2nd floor location with an antique shop called holly terror. THE FOOD IS FANTASTIC!
