We had dinner and it was quite tasty. We ate outside on the patio, as they had heaters which made it quite nice. The people I was with, had different beers and they seemed to really enjoy them. You could even request a sample to try before you got a glass. And they had a lot to choose from

We saw a billboard for this establishment as we were driving into Rapid City and thought we'd give it a try. Boy are we happy we did! The four of us all had different meals and every thing was unbelievably delicious! From the sausage to pork medallions to the pulled pork sandwich there was nothing that wasn't amazing. If we... Wife and I are from Minneapolis area and were staying in the Black Hills for our anniversary. We had tickets to "I love you, you're perfect, now change" which was showing in the brewery's theater (which is upstairs) the Saturday evening we got into town. Show started at 7 and we got the restaurant about 6. We were both starving... More

This restaurant had really clever ads as we were approaching Rapid City from the east. And boy did they have a lot of ads. When we checked the ratings, those customers must have had a better experience than we had. I ordered the flight of 9 beers. That was the highlight of the meal for me. My meal was the... More

We spent the night in Rapid City and had seen the many (I mean, many!) billboards and firetrucks promoting the place as we drove I-90. We decided to give it a try. We will not return for another meal here. My wife ordered the 1/2 rack of baby back ribs. They were tough and extremely dry. Almost no flavor. She... More

The ouside of this brewery looks just like a firehall! Inside had a good vibe too with lots of fire fighting related paraphernalia. We had 2 appetizers and 2 beers. Both were pretty typical bar fare.

Waitress was friendly and fast. I had the Gogonzola Alex soup and salad and it was really good. Would definitely visit again.

After driving down I-90 for years and seeing the endless signs for this place I finally decided to give it a try. I have to say that it didn't live up to the hype. Besides the brew itself, I usually test a brewery by their burger. I have to say the burger disappointed me. It was dry and not very... More

As I entered the establishment I instantly fell in love with the decor and setup of the place. It was beautiful. Service was good and the atmosphere was ok, so we decided to get meals with our beers. I'll have to say that the beer was fairly good, with a wide variety to fit almost any preference. The food, however,... More

Description
"The Firehouse," as it is called by locals, is one of the city's most unique and interesting landmarks. -Housed within the original Rapid City firehouse, a structure built of four layer brick in 1915, the building is listed on the National Historic Register. We offer a full service restaurant and bar with indoor and outdoor dining. Experience a vibrant atmosphere with live entertainment by local musicians in addition to live theatre most Friday and Saturday evenings (view our website for a list of upcoming events). Of course, the Main attraction at the Firehouse is our uniquely flavored, hand crafted beers along with a menu of the Midwest's favorite dishes. With culinary selections ranging from salads and BBQ to buffalo and gumbo, there is something for everyone at the Firehouse Brewing Company.
