Firehouse is a local attraction as a restaurant. The old firehouse turned into a restaurant. As a local I have eaten here many times mostly with out of town visitors or to meet someone for business. I personally am not all that impressed with the food and am not into beers. Is in my opinion a nice upscale restaurant on... More

First, let me say all we had was a glass of wine and beer because we had just eaten when we found this cute place. Both wine and beer are products of the Firehouse Brewing Co. I wish we had been there when we could have eaten. This place has a very cool history. This is such a cool place,... More

Went here with a friend for lunch. Staff was friendly and our food came quickly. The salad I had was nothing special.

My family and I often go the Firehouse Brewing Company for lunch and/or dinner. The food and service are consistently very good. The selection of locally made beer changes regularly and we have not been disappointed with any of our choices in food or beverage. The location is perfect in downtown Rapid City with easy access for shopping. Parking is... More

International Bitterness Unit (IBU) is a scale that simply measures the amount of the chemicals in a beer that make it taste bitter starting at 0 (less bitter) thru 100 (more bitter) and this is one restaurant that shows it on each of its electronic boards. I’ve been finding that microbreweries usually have this information available. So learn your IBU!

Had dinner with the family at the Firehouse Brewing Company. The location is perfect and the firehouse layout of the restaurant is great. Good brews on tap, I got the lager and my wife got the IPA. The food was very tasty and the service was quick and helpful. There is a merchandise store right next to the restaurant. That... More

Kid friendly. Server was great, he was responsive and really fast. Made some good recommendations about the beer selection. I had a lager, my husband had a porter and both were great. Husband had the firehouse burger and I had the firefighter pulled pork, kids had the cheeseburger and chicken wings kids meals...everything was tastey.

Every restaurant we have visited over the years in Rapid City has been excellent, but one stands out for relaxed audacity. This is the Firehouse Brewing Company. It is one of those business that helps make Rapid City downtown such a delight (see my review). What makes the Firehouse special is the range of choices both in food and beverage.... More

Description
"The Firehouse," as it is called by locals, is one of the city's most unique and interesting landmarks. -Housed within the original Rapid City firehouse, a structure built of four layer brick in 1915, the building is listed on the National Historic Register. We offer a full service restaurant and bar with indoor and outdoor dining. Experience a vibrant atmosphere with live entertainment by local musicians in addition to live theatre most Friday and Saturday evenings (view our website for a list of upcoming events). Of course, the Main attraction at the Firehouse is our uniquely flavored, hand crafted beers along with a menu of the Midwest's favorite dishes. With culinary selections ranging from salads and BBQ to buffalo and gumbo, there is something for everyone at the Firehouse Brewing Company.
