My wife and I stopped here for lunch. The place sure is interesting and obviously successful. My BBQ beef sandwich was very tasty, but it gave me the runs. Apple pie crust was very good, not the pie filling.
This is a good place to have a lunch or more. They have desserts, specials, and a menu you can order off of. You put your order in and they call your number, so not table service, but food was very good for the price.
Ordered the roast beef dinner. The roast been was very dry. Needed lots of gravy to get the beef down. The mashed potatoes tasted like instant potatoes. The only item I finished on the plate was the canned green beans.
The food was OK, but a bit high priced for what you got. It is a zoo trying to find a seat, so most people did that before going to the counter to order. I think the best part was the doughnut.
It was okay, but I wouldn't recommend this restaurant nor eat here again. The food was adequate for our needs I suppose, barely. It's certainly not worth going off the highway to stop to eat here.
We have visited Wall Drug many times. We were there last week and had the doughnuts and 5 cent coffee. The doughnuts are unlike any other doughnut I have ever had. We also shopped at some of the stores in Wall Drug.
