This was a cute lunch spot in downtown Collierville, TN. It's only open for lunch there wasn't too much of a wait. The staff was friendly and patient when we lost track of time and stayed past closing. Can't judge the food as I only had the egg salad.

I had the meatloaf, mashed potatoes and lima beans. All were really delicious. The potatoes were real and the lima beans were seasoned just right. Good southern cooking. Be sure to check it out on the square.

The Silver Caboose is a quaint homey restaurant located on the old Collierville square. (with other quaint and awesome shops within walking distance) This place is always packed, with good reason. The food is home cooked and has that fresh from the farm taste. Their daily specials are all excellent, and service at this restaurant is always quick and friendly.... More

We had always seen the Silver Caboose when we took our train-obsessed son to the square to see the parked train but had never gone in. We tried it this past weekend, and had mixed reviews. We were seated in the second dining room, and would recommend waiting for a table in the main "train room", where they have a... More

Silver Caboose is certainly an institution in Collierville and worth a visit, but is a bit overpriced for what you get. Catfish on Thursday is good but be prepared for a crowd.

This place is a Collierville institution at this point with a ton of regulars and a well worn formula for great food and service. When I want s good home cooked meal I can either cook or go there and Silver Caboose usually wins. Their desserts don't get slit if attention but they are all fantastic. Try it once and... More

This was my first visit, heard a lot people talk about this place for lunch. I ordered the chicken salad sandwich special which was a little pricey for me. It was mediocre to me, was not worth the price ($10.00). Might try this place again but want be having the chicken salad.

In the heart of Collierville historic square. Daily specials. Today my husband had meat loaf, his personal favorite, with purple hull peas and sweet potato casserole and I had chicken salad with fresh fruit. Homemade desserts and best vegetables in town. Delicious home made rolls! Never disappointed

One of my favorite places to eat in Collierville. It's a meat and two vegetables places. Save room for a slice of pie. The only draw back is that it is a popular restaurant and sometimes there is a wait time. Parking on the square can also be problematic.
