This is a nice restaurant with a fantastic view of Powell Valley and fabulous at night with all the twinkling lights below. The smoked prime rib is delicious. If you had never had fried green tomatoes try theirs. Nice portions and friendly service. Must call for reservations. They close right after Thanksgiving and don't open again until around Easter. While... More

Views were great! Relaxing outside, but very loud inside restaurant. New York Strip was good... service was average. Would recommend for family or celebration.

My husband and I celebrated my 51st birthday here. We both had different cuts of steak, and both delicious! The price was around $50 total for both and we had entree & 2 sides. This was our first time, but won't be our last. If you go, pass up restaurant and go about a mile and you'll see a sign... More

This makes out 3rd time to this place. Food is good. Obviously the view is the main attraction. Last year we spent $120 at Ruth Chris in Knoxville for two steak dinners. We did Mount McCloud for $83 (tip included) and it was better than Ruth Chris. Casual dress place. Seen some reviews about service, ours was great!

We moved to Tennessee in 2011, and are only 25 minutes from this splendid location. Numerous people told me to visit this and I kept putting it off. One weekend my wife and I decided to give it a try. The trip to the restaurant was basically an adventure, with beautiful overlooks on the way up. Once there the food... More

First of all, the views are the only thing worth going for. The food is just average and pricey. The day of our visit, the service was the pits. We waited over 30 minutes for our food. People who arrived after us got their food before us and people who ordered later than we did got theirs right after ours.... More

Travel up and down I75 and you will see signs for this place. But at the bottom of the mountain we were told you can't go up it's private. Maybe you should remove your signs telling everyone to come! Might be nice but we'll never know!

With friends who were repeat visitors, we took our 3 kids (along with their 2) and made the drive up the mountain for lunch. The views were spectacular, and the restaurant kindly seated us at one of their best tables. We were able to enjoy BBQ, bison and fish sandwiches, as well as spaghetti and chicken strips for the kids.... More
