We ordered a family pack with tea at the counter and they had it out before we could sit down. Blazing fast and very good.

I was told by a local working the front desk of my hotel that Red Pig BBQ was one of the best BBQ restaurants in Johnson City. So I left my hotel and went for dinner. I walked in to a mom-n-pop type restaurant with a very friendly staff. I had the all-u-can-eat pulled pork w/2 sides for $12.99. It... More

As a long time diner at the Pig we did skip if for a couple years after the ownership change and the previous owner died. Found the new ownership team less than friendly. A friend suggested we try it again which we did. We were very pleased to find that the staff is friendlier now and the food is as... More

I ate here one day when I was craving bbq and Ridgewood wasn't opened. It definitely wasn't that great.. I had heard good reviews for them, but I wasn't really impressed. I think I am just so impressed by Ridgewood BBQ that nothing else can compare. I won't be getting anything from here again.

Eating at Red Pig Barbeque currently. The food is very good but had anticipated eating supper and watching the UT Vols game. Upon ordering I asked if they could possibly change the TV channel with an extremely rude response of no. I was caught by surprise as we are the only customers in the restaurant. We have been loyal customers... More

Went here because a recently opened national BBQ chain ran out of pork and ribs by 730 on a Friday night. Quick service, friendly smiles, cozy kind of place. Ordered the pig pack to go, which is 1 lb. of meat, 2 pint sized sides, pint of sauce, 6 buns, and a gallon of tea for $21. It will feed... More

I was afraid this place would be packed before the Bristol Night Race nearby but it was empty for the most part. We happily placed our order for 4 of us and it was ready quickly. I then went back and ordered a 2nd large pulled pork sandwich. It's basically a simple meal- sweet tea, cole slaw and a large... More
